Are we doing the following?
Apr 25th, 2009 by Randy Toman
1. Have we obeyed the Law of the Constitution?
2. Have we understood that it is God’s law and His purpose that must be obeyed?
3. Have we rightly handled the word of God and the word of our Constitution?
4. Have we operated under our Constitution and Biblical law?
5. Have we identify and rejected illegitimate authorities, both Biblically and Constitutionally?
6. Have we practiced Bible-based evangelism?
7. Have we answered Anti-Christian positions with Apologetics?
I have said for sometime now the church as failed in its duty to teach, instruct, and guide both the sheep and the people that live within the borders of this country. This article has proved my suspicions and deserves to be read for I do believe it has gotten so much worse within the church. http://www.newswithviews.com/Jackson/nicholas121.htm
In just a few sentences let me try to put it in perspective. The latest movement within the so-called Christian church is the Purpose Driven Church Movement and the Emerging Church Movement both are moving further away from Scripture. Both are tied to emotionalism/ feel good-ism and social interaction among the congregation and both are not concerned with the Souls of its people.
Along with the progressive/liberal movement and social Gospel of the early 20th century you can see how these past movements have turn even more subversive in there corrupting of a once Christian country by turning the people to emotionalism with no absolutes in value with group feel good social networking within a church setting. If you study those movements and teachings as they did in Acts 17: 10, (who were more noble) you will begin to see what it is I’m talking about.
The question must be asked. What is the state of God’s word in the American Church?
Nehemiah in the book of “Nehemiah 9:26,27” answers that question.
Read: Nehemiah Chapter nine, verses 26 & 27 and then read the article.
