Art Thou Righteous?

The past couple of posting we have been discussing the corruption of “Reason”. It would be impossible to understand “Western Culture” without first understanding the impact of “Biblical Law”, on culture. To not understand “Biblical Law”, the “Bible” and the impact it had on Western Culture is to not understand the development of history and that Culture.
In order to understand history and the development of it we must bring into that discussion what the Theologians call “Antinomianism”. The simplified definition is to say “The doctrine of Anti- against “God’s” Law. This belief within the different dominations of the Christian Religions has had a major impact on Biblical interpretation of scripture. This Antinomianism allowed “Reason” to take its’ crowning seat over any Biblical interpretation and of course over Biblical Law with Reason then replacing God as sovereign.
The following is taken from Rouas John Rushdoony “The Institutes of Biblical Law” 1973
“For the Bible there is no law in nature because nature is fallen and cannot be normative.”
Of course this fly’s in the face of natures god or the god of nature, which Jefferson used in the “Constitution”. Natures god and the abstractions used by Jefferson would have never been used by Joshua when he put it to the Israelites.
Joshua 24:15 King James Bible
“—choose you this day whom ye will serve; as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
You might want to ask yourself that question and I really need not know your answer. But I will say this; the “Republicans” will not help you to the proper choice or for that matter will the “Conservatives” nor the “Democrats”.
Proverbs 24:24 King James Bible
“He that saidth unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him.”
