Dr. Williams from George Mason University, says in part, 

“Only 14 percent of Washington’s fourth-graders score at or above proficiency in the reading and math portions of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) test. Their national rank of 51 makes them the nation’s worst. Eighth-graders are even further behind with only 12 percent scoring at or above proficiency in reading and 8 percent in math, and again the worst performance in the nation.”

If we are to compete in the world’s markets, we need a society of well educated individuals. This would include all of us. The results of what we have now, especially in the inner cities, will breed more crime and chaos, more racism and more debt. Is Obama smart enough to know this or is he playing politics? In his lecture to public grade school students in Virginia last week, he stressed the importance in studying hard and graduating instead of dropping out as approximately 52% of African Americans do today. I applaud him for that but yet he wants to hand out more entitlements to these same groups. He says one thing and does another! What is really more important to Obama, better education for our young or more future voters for him and his party? A simple look at the inner cities throughout America tells us the answer. That is the fact that Democrats have no conscience, only the desire to win elections at any cost! He is truly an “ACORN” kind of guy!
