Can you get an answer?

In John Fund’s book “Stealing Elections” 2004, page 2 says this.
“ Many Americans are convinced that politicians can’t be trusted to play by the rules and will either commit fraud or intimidate voters at the slightest opportunity.”
Same page:
“Indeed, the level of suspicion has grown so dramatically that it threatens to undermine our political system.”
This is the last quote or I will wind up quoting the whole second page of his book.
“A Rasmussen Research poll in June (following the election of 2000) found that 44 percent of Americans were either very or somewhat worried that a Florida style mess could happen in 2004.”
If in 2000, 44% of the American people were worried about the mess, do you think that the percentage will be up or down if polled for the 2008 election? Especially knowing whom the Party representatives might be.
Does anybody out there really understand the seriousness of this poll?
If the poll is true, we have gone from concern over Morals, Ethics, and manipulation of tolerance to out and out corruption of the system. We have gone from thinking that voting in the lesser of the evil will save this country. To it doesn’t matter who is running. The elected will be selected not by “YOU” but whoever. We have gone from some in government being thought of as honest to not trusting any of them. We have gone to all lobby groups being evil because the good ones (if there is such a thing) will be forced out of business.
Don’t you think somebody should really start to ask both parties hard/serious questions? And then wait and see if you get an answer. But don’t hold your breath.
