Compassion or Greed for Votes

“This past week, four of the 17 Uighurs being held at Guantanamo were sent to Bermuda, and the Pacific islands nation of Palau said it would accept others.”

Bermuda? Isn’t that a big paradise vacation spot? I guess these “victims” deserve compensation for all the time they spent at GITMO under the big “hammer” of our CIA villains! Then there is the remaining 13 detainees that may be sent to Palau, another paradise island along with $200 million of our tax dollars as part of the deal. Yes, you heard me right! Obama wanted to release them in the United States but too many of his own party objected for fear of harming their re-election chances. Maybe Obama was more concerned about what the Muslim nations were thinking than what his own party and concerned citizens were thinking! Naw!!
I always knew that the left believes they can create a Utopian world as they are a “compassionate” bunch. Awhile we and our future generations are being hammered financially for being too wealthy, the detainees get a vacation for life, paid for by…us!
I do seem to remember that during Hillary’s run for the New York Senate, Hillary..er..excuse me, Bill Clinton, freed a group of Puerto-Rican Nationalist murderers from prison with the promise that they would be good boys and girls. They refused to make that promise but were freed anyway. Hillary got the large Puerto-Rican vote and won the Senate seat!
Did Hillary do this out of compassion, compassion for murderers she did not know personally? Or did she want the votes of Puerto-Ricans? I know, that’s a stupid question!
I guess in the eyes of the left, there is no bad guys unless you are a Conservative and/or Christian, like Sarah Palin or Rush Limbaugh. There are only voters and potential voters that can easily be bought with our tax dollars. The only potential voters they ignore are the unborn. It all adds up to the lack of good moral values and the principles our country was founded upon. Just when I think it can’t get worse, it gets worse!
