Definitions and Solutions

There has been in the history of mankind, in all ages, two great contending principles at issue-
A.The contest of error against truth.
B.The struggle of truth with error.

We have come to the cross roads of history when truth is being challenged at its’ core. The truth of the Middle East conflict is condensed to “Stay” or “Pull out”. Is that all we must think on? Why is this the issue of our concern? We are told to “Stay” that we must defeat terrorism and stabilize the Middle East or we must “Pull out”. I don’t remember if I was told what is to happen to the region if we pull out? Besides the possible genocide, which in itself is bad enough. I have heard nothing as to what the general direction and/or if the region will have stability and peace. Why are the Democrats not telling us what they anticipate in the region? Is it asking too much when asking that question? I have said on a number of occasions that the information with regards to the Iraq situation must be told to the American people.
I cannot believe this is a short term clash of policies but fear this is a long term clash of civilization with deadly repercussions. World affairs were thought of and acted on in terms of a simplified “Cold War Paradigm”. This model for current affairs will not work because we no longer talk in terms of governmental rules as the guide lines, using economic sanctions, along with military might. Christianity and Islam are the two religions that define civilization. We have a Culture/religion pitted against the imposing of our governmental rules by us. The two prime examples are the Southern Border issue and Iraq conflict. If it were up to the three governments of North America, USA, Mexico, and Canada, we would have a deal and be well along our way to whatever.
The Middle East conflict and that situation I believe lacks complete agreement of core principles. If not lack of core principles, we are certainly perceived as infidels and our president is Satan himself. This being said, Muslims can only believe that the forcing of Western values would be sin in their eyes and against their god. Whether true or not is not my point. My point is, within this deadly clash, we have no understanding of each other’s position and terms being used to solve the problem. In order to move forward someone should have the Muslim define Freedom, Liberty, and Equality and compare their definition to that of the Christian definition. If we cannot have agreement on definition of words, how can we have any principles that we agree on and how shall we find a solution to the problem?
