Did we lose something?

For those of you that know me, you know my concerns go well beyond the simple analysis of these issues. You say the issues have simple answers and you need only develop the reasoning to convince your opponent, I say it is much bigger and goes much deeper in resolution of a more serious problem. I have consistently said that it is not the system that is broken but that the rules have been perverted and the standards lowered to were the system is being used against itself and the people of this land.
Politics have gone from debate, reasoning, and resolution of the issues, to greed, pork for the district, and power of position. The truth of that statement cannot be denied, but the peculiarity of that situation is that none of the guilty admits to this guilt nor will they acknowledge in perverting the rules and system. Who is guilty and who is not becomes and/or adds to the chaos and confusion of the situation. This chaos and confusion has deteriorated to blindness of purpose and not understanding the truth of the situation.
We have lost our way to such an extent that we no longer recognize what liberty is and the fact that we have lost it. And worse through a forced political correctness we cannot get that liberty back. Why is this? Because we cannot openly say what our conscience is telling us, we have in effect lost our “Liberty of Conscience”. If that is true we have lost something that only God has dictate over and we have given it away. When loosing your conscience it will never go to a good man, but to evil men or Satan himself. The evil then becomes good men doing nothing and/or can’t do anything.
Psalm 11:3 King James “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
The concept of “Liberty of Conscience” was of great concern to our founding fathers. So much so that the House of Representatives on August 20,1789 voted to approve an amendment and I quote only the last 7 words.
“…or to infringe the rights of conscience.”
These 7 words were deleted from the adopted 1st. Amendment December 15,1791. This Amendment we know only to well.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,…”
No were in the 1st. amendment does it mention the rights of “Conscience”, and that this liberty is sacred and is something between man and his God. Either God will control mans’ conscience or man will turn it over to Satan. Have we not lost our conscience collectively or are we real close, maybe we have already lost something called “Liberty of Conscience”.
