For a week we have all heard about the $165 million in bonuses given to the AIG execs http://wcco.com/national/AIG.bonus.payments.2.961981.html. For months we have been hearing about the jailing of Madoff and how he ripped off over $60 billion from his “investor” clients http://money.aol.com/madoff. The hypocrites in the Democrat party that are mostly responsible for the AIG bonuses, mainly Chris Dodd, are pointing their fingers at AIG CEO Edward Liddy who took control of the failing AIG last September. http://news.aol.com/article/aig-chairman-inherits-retention-bonus/386132.
Although Madoff is responsible for the ripoff of over $60 billion and is going to prison for life as he should, where was the oversight when all this was happening?
In the case of AIG, Liddy took on the huge responsibility of getting AIG back on track and did so with no compensation. He also disagrees with the bonuses but those contracts were written before he took the CEO position at AIG.
It just astounds me how the politicians can sit in their tax paid for chairs in their tax paid for buildings, making huge tax paid for salaries and point fingers at anyone. They are the ones that are spending trillions of our yet to be earned dollars and they have the nerve to accuse others of getting amounts that are only a mere .01% of that. Chris Dodd, in particular, allowed bonuses to be paid to the AIG execs and the main stream media refuses to ask why. Then there is the illustrious homosexual lover boy Barney Frank who had a 9 year homosexual affair with his live-in boyfriend Herb Moses who was a top exec at Fannie Mae. Of course, that didn’t affect his judgement….oh no!!

Again, nothing about this from the main stream media. The Dems love to hold others accountable but who is holding them accountable. Why aren’t the real guilty ones in front of a panel of lawyers and questioned about why they are giving trillions of our tax dollars away? Why isn’t the main stream media asking those questions? Didn’t Chris Dodd get huge campaign contributions from the same financial groups he is now pointing the finger at? Wasn’t it the Chosen One, president Obama who received huge contributions from these same groups? Weren’t the bonuses given to AIG, nothing less than a payback from the Democrats for all the money they received from their liberal buddies over at AIG, so the Democrats could look the other way awhile they were corrupting the system? By that I mean pressuring the banks to finance housing loans to people that couldn’t afford to make the payments, to the tune of over $6 trillion in default losses.
Isn’t that the real reason Chris Dodd and the democrats who wrote and passed the bailout bill without anyone reading it, the reason he left in the section of the bailout bill that guaranteed the bonuses to the AIG execs? Dodd and his liberal friends in the Democrat party were hoping no one would notice. This was one of the reasons no one was given time to review the bill before it was signed in haste. Another reason the politicians are doing everything they can to keep AIG afloat, is because AIG is the insurance company that insures their special pensions that only politicians get, from our tax money of course! In the meantime, they are spending our earned pensions to keep themselves in power over us.
When are we going to wake up and hold the guilty accountable? We really need to stop putting the politicians on a pedestal and start treating them as though they are working for us. When are we going to stop taking so much abuse? Our country is going down hill fast and we absolutely need to hold our government accountable for their actions. The power is with us and only us and we must take our responsibilities seriously. I want to see the government in front of a committee answering questions instead of pointing the finger at others, which brings me to the subject of my title…Diversion! Everything they are doing is to keep attention away from themselves. With the help of the leftists in the main stream media, they will succeed. That’s why it is up to us! We MUST act while we still have a representative republic! If we don’t, we will lose out to a Socialist style Oligarchy! Obama likes to refer to himself as being like Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and Jack Kennedy. He looks like a wanna-be Fidel Castro to me! You leftists, excuse me, you Progressives, should think before you vote next time. I partially blame all of you for the mess we are in. I also blame the school system for dumbing down our young with our tax money. Do you want a real grown up leader or a Bill Ayres follower, Socialist” Rock Star” that you think is the “Messiah”? Where is common sense in America? What is our perception of right and wrong?
