Dumbing down Education—the road to “Socialism”

The supposition upon which we make daily judgments have been so perverted and distorted that it is impossible to accurately determine the correctness of the path we are on.
I quote again from Charlotte Iserbyt book “The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America” 1996 on page 30 we have these words.
“ The forties and fifties set all the essential ingredients in place for implementation in the sixties of a system of education geared to behavior and value changes.”
She also said these words Page 27.
“United States membership in the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural organization (UNESCO) in 1946 set in motion the destabilization of our society through the rejection of absolute morals and values, Judeo-Christian tradition, and Roman law. United States membership in UNESCO marked the end of United States autonomy in a very crucial area: that of education. From this time on UNESCO would dictate education policy to our government and others. This legislation was accompanied by President Harry Truman’s remarkable statement: ‘education must establish the moral unity of mankind’.”
We have come a long way from 1946 until today 2009 and I would submit to you that President Obama did not really mean to use the word “CHANGE” as his campaign slogan; for change had already taken place. He used the word that could make you think there is or was a possible path for correction. There was no way he could or would divulge his true intent and/or to what extent we had fallen. Let me show you how confused these issues have become.
Again from Iserbyt book page 28.
General Brock Chisholm Canadian Psychiatrist 1946 present a paper to the United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) in which he reinterpreted the word morality.
“The reinterpretation and eventually eradication of the concept of right and wrong…”
Iserbyt makes this statement further on down the page. (28)
“ If one believes, as this writer, that the well-being of mankind and the stability of this world and its institutions depend on the rule of law, then the 1940s and 1950s will be remembered as the commencement of the unraveling of civic order in the United States of America and throughout the world.”
The following list of goals appeared in Iserbyt book on page 32. These items are listed as things to be incorporated into programs “…for a just and durable peace after World War 2.”
She quotes these (listed below) as coming from the Times Magazine (March 16,1942) “Times Magazine” having ran an extensive article in its Religion section.
A. Ultimately, “a world government of delegated powers.
B. Complete abandonment of U.S. isolationism.
C. Strong immediate limitations on national sovereignty.
D. International control of all armies and navies.
E. A universal system of money… so planned as to prevent inflation and deflation.
F. Worldwide freedom of immigration.
G. Progressive elimination of all tariff and quote restrictions on world trade.
A. to G. is not all inclusive but you do get the idea. Here is the quoted sentence immediately after the listed items, which were to be used as guides to goals within the program.
“This program was adopted last week by 375 appointed representatives of 30-odd denominations called together at Ohio Wesleyan University by the Federal Council of Churches.” Page 32
Progressive doctrine and the Social Gospel have perverted and confused the American people to the point that makes it difficult to believe God will have mercy on us. Let us hope and pray God will have mercy on us because President Obama is not using anything in the way of original ideas in taking us down the path to Socialism. For we have been corrupted and you see we are already on the path and have been on the path for many years. We are about to emerge at the end with President Obama only guiding our final steps when we step into the Socialistic World of Hell run by elitist socialists. That world will be completely void of God and His Christ.

Apparently, the American people want Socialism because they have been taught that Socialism and government control is good, just and compassionate all in the name of equality. The movement toward Socialism and all the people and countries involved may be bigger than anything we can handle. We could be at the point of no return. There has NEVER been any doubt in my mind that we have been dumbed down to accept Socialism. I think it is high time we smarten up! Most of our government is NOT our friend!
