Endangered Species

Another article by my friend Clyde.
There are about 80 to 100 million hard working, honest, law abiding, patriotic, tax paying gun owners in America. They are the collectors, target shooters, hunters and personal security people, from back country hikers or fishermen along the rivers to the walker on the city streets.
I know most of you are educated, can read and understand the written word. Some 5 million of us are NRA members and about another 10 million of us read various other outdoor and shooting sports magazines to stay reasonably informed of political and constitutional happenings effecting our abilities to live, work and enjoy our way of life outdoors. That leaves about 70 to 85 million of you who may or may not be paying much attention to the powers in D.C., and what might happen should Obama pass new legislation against gun ownership for the law abiding citizens.
Don’t be misled by what politicians say or what the parties say they support. Since you can read, do your homework and look at the voting records of the politicians you intend to vote for.
Not all members, but most members of the Democrat party are ultra-liberals and do not believe in and never have supported the Second Amendment of the Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights. It is not the Bill of Wishes, it is the Bill of Rights!
I will quote the Second Amendment of our Constitution: “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall no be “infringed”, and elected officials, (I know, I have been one) take an oath to uphold the laws of their jurisdiction, their state and the Constitution of These United States of America”
Yet many, mostly Democrats, have hardly lowered their hand from taking the oath of office before that same hand is writing legislation in direct violation of their oath of office to uphold the Constitution.
The House and Senate is now and will be, under the control of ultra liberals who really believe they are smarter and yes, even better than you and me. They really do believe they know what’s better for us than we the people do.
When they look down their elitist long noses from their marble towers of power, we the people with our work clothes and dirty hands, seem to be invisible to them.
I feel we are only here to pay more and more taxes to a FAT, LAZY and WASTEFUL government so that they can give my money away to an ever growing percentage of people who are unwilling to start early, get dirty and stay up late in an effort to make it on their own for themselves and their children!
The elitist politicians have bodyguards and other protection for themselves and their families paid for by our tax dollars and yet don’t feel we have a right to the same security and to protect ourselves with our own money and resources.
