Equality

The left has been telling us for years that they want equality for the American people. It seems logical that they want equality by their wealth re-distribution plan that takes from the earners and gives it to the non-earners. Billions have been given away to the “underprivelaged” and “disenfranchised”. As I travel across this country from coast to coast, I see no improvement in the lives of the recipients of our hard earned tax dollars. What I do see is poverty growing at a remarkable rate, especially in the inner cities as the working class move out to the suburbs. Two of the main reasons these people are moving out is because of decreasing property values and increasing crime. Businesses also move out!
It’s obvious to many of us that this “make everyone equal” plan of the Democrats have failed miserably. There are a few reasons this is happening. Making people equal to one another takes more than shoving money at the problem. It also takes equal schooling and getting equal results. Now, we don’t expect perfect equality, but we do expect better results for the financial investment being made. Our schools are not equal because many of the teachers in the poverty areas, are not up to par with teachers in the nicer areas of the cities and counties. Neither are the conditions of the schools. Many of the schools in bad areas, are being destroyed by the very students they are supposed to be educating. The parents of 75 % of these students are usually single mothers with little to no income because marriage is not a good choice for getting the most out of the welfare system. Thank the Democrats for that! We can also thank the Democrats for not wanting school choice for the ones in our society that need it most, however, almost all Democrats send their children to their choice in schools. Good enough for them but not an option for the poor they profess to have compassion for.
Conclusion: The government can not make us equal, no matter how much they take from the working class. Giving away our money to the non-working classes, does NOT result in equality. It creates dependancy! It does, however, create votes and that’s what the Democrat’s really want!
The last welfare entitlement the Democrats tried is what caused our economy to go ballistic. Most of us could easily lose 1/2 to 2/3 of all we have saved for. Many of the older will never recover. Do the Dems care? No, they will probably win in November by blaming Bush and the “greedy” corporate types, with the help of the MSM. The real guilty ones, like Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and Pelosi will probably get re-elected and will continue to fleece the producers of the wealth. Obama was right in the thick of it all as a community organiser with ACORN. We are getting equality all right, equally poor that is! How can this be? Simple! Corrupt MSM, corrupt Democrats, little oversight in the financial markets, a poorly educated public and the Republican party who caved to the pressures from the “compassionate” Democrats. Just saying “there is enough blame to go around” does not make everyone equally guilty! You can bet the guilty will not be held accountable if the guilty be Democrats!
What we really need is an honest government and a better informed public. Most of all, we need higher moral standards from everyone by getting back to the vision of our founding fathers. They were guided by their Judeo/Christian beliefs. What are we guided by? Greed of power and financial wealth? Yes it is and it is about to destroy us all.

Equality in life is a myth. Our Constitution forbids the Congress from distributing the people’s wealth without their permission. That is why we have independent private sector Social Agencies. Because of Government intervention are subsidized. We have destroyed our social fabric. You can give and donate all you want, but you cannot take other people’s largess and distribute it amongst the so called needy. This all sounds good, but our apathy has let everything go astray. WE have let be shredded the only real set of laws that should protect us all, including the unfortunate amongst us.

“They were guided by their Judeo/Christian beliefs.”
Correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t many of the founding fathers actually non-religious?
Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, George Washington, Thomas Paine… All at least deists, (i.e. didn’t believe in a personified god such as the Christian one) or down right atheists.
Here’s a short piece on the matter:
