Excuses, Excuses, Excuses!

I tried to count all the excuses made at ex Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich’s trial but ran out of patience. I will post a few of the more obvious.

1. “The former Illinois governor wasn’t capable of doing anything but talk. And talk.”
2. “he may have proposed some “stupid” ideas that were secretly recorded by the FBI, but nowhere is there any evidence he took a single “corrupt penny.”
3. “The tapes “really have a lot of talk that seems like blowing off steam … as opposed to doing,”
4. “Blagojevich was “desperate” and perhaps delusional, the judge also made it clear that the defendant’s lack of success in obtaining money or a new job may not matter.”
5. “Blagojevich attorney Lauren Kaeseberg insisted that the prosecution’s case was built on talk. “That means if I’ve researched a crime, I’ve attempted to commit that crime? If I’ve talked about a crime I’ve attempted to commit that crime?”
6. “Blagojevich’s attorneys have sought to exploit some of the more embarrassing revelations of the trial — that their client was so lazy he showed up to his office as little as two hours a week and sloughed off so much of his work that a top aide actually signed bills into law.”
7. “Given his behavior in the past few months, they could say he’s something of an airhead and a flake who runs off at the mouth, (that) it’s meaningless babble.”
8. “we decided the case was so weak he didn’t have to testify,” Alschuler said. “The reason is this guy has so much to hide he couldn’t take the stand.”
This all sounds very suspicious to me! Could it be that they just don’t want him to take the stand because Obama and the Democrat party doesn’t want ole Rod Blagojevich to talk? He might just slip up and say too much, being the talker he is! (See line 1.) Chicago should be renamed “Crime City”! Crime and corruption everywhere! A Democrat controlled city of course!

Really? Blagojevich’s defense is an Obamman cover-up conspiracy? Actually, I’m convinced the former gov flew all four planes during 911. But completely seriously, if Blagojevich’s attorney allowed him to take the stand, he’d have to follow Groucho Marx’s dictum: If my attorney advised me to do that…I’d get another attorney.
I didn’t say it was his legal defense. Blagojevich himself threatened to talk, but I knew he wouldn’t. He wanted to stay healthy! It was more like self defense!

His lawyer just wanted his money, and his moment of recognition, period! By the way, this wouldn’t be the first time Obama interfered with elections. How about Sestak and Romanoff? Do those names ring a bell?
I would like to add one more big time elections interference. How about ACORN! This was before he was elected and probably the main reason he was elected besides the mainstream media covering for him against his association with the radical reverend Wright and other Socialists and Communists. Ever since Obama took office, his talk never seems to agree with his actions. I call that corruption. I catch on to that sort of thing real quick. For some people, it will take time! Even others don’t really care because they are of like mind. In other words, facts and truth don’t matter to them!
