Finally, Some Are Waking Up!

This is a must read article concerning my largest concern, our public school system and what they are doing to our children. Conservatives have little to no say in what is being taught, but the liberal Socialists, Democrats,(much the same thing), gay rights groups, tree huggers and other left wing wacko’s have complete control of the curriculum. When will we stand up and rebel? Shouldn’t we, as Christians and conservatives, care about our children? I will list a few paragraphs from the article.
“Why should we be surprised we’re losing culturally and politically when we continue to offer up our children as living sacrifices to the Molech of government schools?” (Bruce Shortt).
“The left knows that whoever controls the children owns the future. That’s why so many ’60s radicals like Bill Ayers went into education. Now they effectively control the government school system and its curriculum. But worse, we give them our children.” (Bruce Shortt).
“State-run public schools have become destructive to our children’s Christian faith. They no longer educate but rather indoctrinate. Not only morally corrupt, public schools are unsafe because of the violence and crime that occurs in them on a regular basis.” (E. Ray Moore).

My colleague has posted an article that should be read by all. As we get ready to enter 2009 it should be evident that we are losing the battle on all fronts. With President elect O’bama ready to take charge of the government and sink the “Republic” ever deeper into the throws of a “socialistic government” don’t you think it would be wise to assess what can be done and start to take corrective actions. It is indeed sad that are Political leaders have left us so crippled and with very little in the way of options.
If we do not start our own initiative by saving our children what is to be said of us. And think not that these times will not protect us because they will. The harder the times, the sweeter will be the protection of the Lord and His Christ Jesus. It will be the true Christian Leaders that will have the strength to guide the sheep through this coming mess.
My family and I have been reading through C. H. Spurgeon’s “Daily Treasure” reading through the Psalms and it should be providence that we just read this in Psalms 149 as we finish the years reading.

“Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;”
Paul tells us how we should be acting in 1st Corinthians 16: 13
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.”
Indoctrination is the job of religions, not schools. The job of schools is that traditional enemy of religion — critical thought.
Indoctrination is not the job of Religion. Religions job is to point the way of man’s salvation in Jesus Christ and the cross. It is mans feeble attempt to save his fellow man’s souls and give the individual peace of conscience and reason. The two aspects of man’s spiritual senses that allow him to think correctly as to right and wrong.
Secondly school should not be the traditional enemy of Christian Religion (followers of Jesus Christ) but should work hand and hand with the wisdom put forth in Biblical teaching. All mans knowledge gained should be to mans benefit and to God’s Glory not mans.
