Fools and more fools?????

This came to me from an associate in the political arena, some of you will know who it is, others will not but it does not matter, the point is made. (see below and read it)
My question is how do you tell Mr. Gleason he is part of the problem and as the leader of the Pa. State Republican Party he should have never said what he said, not in public anyway and/or not so a newspaper could quote him. He is such a fool as to not realize he could have and I believe he has “just awaken a sleeping giant”, sound familiar to anyone.
WE SHALL SEE if there is no primary in PA.. All you folks that don’t quite agree with Robert Gleason please rise up and show him how tall and proud you can stand as true American Citizens.
The process can and must work.

From an associate:
Here are a few thoughts in the wake of Jim Gerlach’s decision yesterday to leave the Governor’s race.
A quote in this morning’s Philadelphia Inquirer really made my blood boil. Robert Gleason, the Republican state chairman, said about Corbett: Now “he doesn’t need a primary” to establish himself. He said he was pleased that Corbett would now be able to “husband his resources.”
Gleason’s arrogance, and that of the entire Republican state committee, absolutely infuriates me. The Republican power brokers have already written off Sam as a candidate without giving him the opportunity to make his views known or gauging the support of the electorate. Worse, they are willing to endorse Corbett even though he has yet to make a statement of principles or his plans for Pennsylvania should he be elected. Check his website - it consists of a bio, endorsements by other politicians that reek of cronyism, and a lot of bragging about his accomplishments as AG, but not one word about his vision for Pennsylvania. On what rational basis are the party bosses supporting him? This is machine politics at its worst!
I don’t know about the rest of you but I, for one, am sick and tired of the party bosses telling me for whom I can vote. In the past the state committee has backed empty suits like Lynn Swann and alleged criminals like John Perzel and the people of Pennsylvania have paid the price for the power brokers’ hubris. It is time for them to be taught a harsh lesson.
Earlier this week the chairman of the Florida state Republican committee, Jim Greer, resigned after extreme pressure from Florida tea party groups who were angered over his support for Florida Governor Charlie Crist’s Senate candidacy over their more conservative preferred candidate. Observers are predicting that Crist may also be brought down by the activists. The ABC News story with a pertinent message for all of us is here: http://tinyurl.com/yd6jhr7. The power of the people defeated the party bosses!
Sam absolutely needs to be elected if we are to have any hope for school property tax elimination. But this election now has a more profound goal: To prove to the party powerful that ordinary folks like us are fed up with their arrogance and want the opportunity to choose who WE prefer to lead our government.
I believe that the PCTA, as an activist group, must do everything we can to make sure Sam is elected regardless of what the Republican state committee tells us to do. His common-sense message resonates with all who hear it; what we need to do is make sure that message is heard by as many folks as possible.
Please involve as many people as you can in this effort. Partner with tea party, 9-12, and other activist and grassroots groups to spread the word. We all must work as hard as possible to take back our government and restore liberty. If it can be done in Florida, we can do it here. It is time to exercise the power that we’ve been guaranteed by the Constitution.
Let’s really get to work!
