Frankly My Dear

I Corinthians 14:8 (King James Bible)
“If the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle?”
We have today a confused mess of illogical acceptance of candidates all under the banner of “The Lesser of Two Evils”. The panic is about to begin were the voter would be subjected to an on going barrage of—you must vote for him—because if you don’t— you will get something far worse. Without any searching for truth, this is to be accepted as the criteria that is to be used in considering who is to receive our vote.
Now this phenomenon has been going on, for who knows how long and unless something or someone changes that political tool and shows it for what it is, it will continue in use for the foreseeable future. The Republicans are famous for using this tool of politics on the Christian vote, for that matter on any voter they think it might work on. And I’m sure they will be using it in the up and coming 08 Presidential elections. Who will not be scared into voting for the Republican candidate when you hear this; if you don’t vote for the Republican you are sure to get Ms. Clinton as your President?
Now I ask you is that being a good Republican leader in a ranking position? Should they not promote the high standards of their own candidate, if in fact their candidate has a high standard? But they would rather scare the poor sheep then consider and evaluate their standards with the possibility of raising them just a tad. With the out come then being candidates with higher standards. Would it not be nice to have this problem—Both parties have candidates of such high standards I don’t know who to vote for. But for now we have pro murder, to many wives, flaming liberal, I’m not sure what I’m and I’m not sure what they are and guess what, you vote for the lesser of two evils if you can tell.
I know, I know, don’t say and act like an idiot Randy. You know which is the lesser of two evils and as for both parties putting up quality candidates never happen, why we can’t even get one party to put up a quality candidate.
So I guess the next time I hear anything close to—you must vote for the lesser of two evils I just might steal a line from a classic movie from the past and say.
“Frankly my dear, I don’t give a dam.”
But you know that is not true of me. BUT I do think it is true of a larger and larger percentage of the US. voter. The Republicans should wake-up to that fact.

It would be nice to vote for the best of 2 good candidates instead of the lesser of 2 bad candidates. This fact shows us where we are with our political system today. We no longer have leaders or statesman, just greedy power grabbers looking out for themselves. We have no one to look up to and no idols to fashion ourselves after, that will benefit our society in a positive way.
