Gingrich and Sharpton

Why in the world would Gingrich want to associate with a man such as Sharpton is beyond me. It should be beyond Gingrich also. I always judged Gingrich to be one of the smartest men in politics but suspected that he was a big wimp as most Repubs. Flattery with men like Sharpton will get you nowhere Mr Gingrich!
