Hope, Faith, Darkness
Dec 25th, 2009 by Randy Toman
God has given us His son Jesus Christ on Christmas day some 2000 years ago, a glorious gift of mercy and salvation. God has also given us the facts of life out of which we must formulate and construct a systematic science of life. Some will call these laws, nature’s law or natural law, while others prefer to construct the science of life through Biblical revelation, getting their facts from the Bible and calling this a System of Theology.
I prefer this latter approach in the organization of life because even as the Heavens declare the glory of God and confirm God’s natural laws through man’s ability to reason, this natural law and the development of its Natural “Theology” utterly fails to answer the question, “How can man be justified with God?”—- “How can he be saved from his fallen state?”
The Church over the last 100 plus years has failed to take the main charge given to it, to the people, that being the good news of Jesus Christ and his saving work of the cross and Christ’s death and resurrection.
I start with these statements to show you how far we have fallen. The simple fact is in no department of knowledge have men been satisfied with the possession of a mass of undigested facts, yet we find God and His Christ not being accept anywhere in our current social circles. Neither Natural Theology nor Biblical Systematic Theology with its digested facts is being accepted, they are mocked and have not supposedly proved there case, they have not given enough information, they have not given a systematic “System” of thought and reason, with that said we have, an ever darkening place and becoming more lost within the supposed knowledgeable society.
How far have we fallen allow me to make but a couple of points with regards to this.
1. We have jettisoned God and His Christ from any consideration of life’s rules.
2. We have jettisoned the facts of nature’s laws to the point that science in now controlled by the majority rule, culture consensus or politically correctness.
3. We are now willing to distort and falsify facts to enforce a cause thereby destroying the Biblical good life of man.
4. No one seems to realize the destruction is occurring or the fact that the facts are being falsified.
To summarize the distant fallen, allow me to make these few points.
1. We have lost the understanding of how the facts fit together.
2. We have lost the why the facts must fit together.
3. We have fallen to the point that we no longer understand they are facts.
4. And finally we have lost the facts.
We have lost our very souls, a dreadful place to be. Pray God will have mercy on us and shine His light on us, for without it we will stay in darkness.
We shall see and shortly how dark it truly can get.
This is what I said last year.

That change is not going to help.
Proverbs Chapter 1 verses 20 – 32 have some interesting words that may be helpful in guiding us in the up and coming year.
All Bible verses quoted from the King James Bible.
Proverbs 1:20
“Wisdom crieth without:”
Proverbs 1:22
“—fools hate knowledge?”
Proverbs 1:24
“Because I have called and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;”
Proverbs 1:25
“But ye have set at nought all my counsel,—-”
Proverbs 1:26
“I also will laugh at your calamity: I will mock when your fear cometh:”
Proverbs 1:28
“Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer;”
Proverbs 1:29
“For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:”
Proverbs 1:31
“ Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way—”
Proverbs 1:32
“—the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.”
The prosperity of fools shall destroy them, between the demise of the U.S. dollar and the financial system by the Federal Reserve and guys like Madoff we can readily see were this is true. And yet we hear nothing of statements from our politicians and/or from the people crying loud cries of “Enough”, “Enough”. Why is their not one loud cry of “Stop”?
The question must start to become clear; have we not past the point of no return? Could we have set at nought all God’s counsel? And that which we have set aside will it not hurt us, when we hear the laugh and we will know there is a God who is mocking us, and He will not hear or answer us in our troubles. (Verse 28)
The Apostle Paul in his great book “Romans” chapter 1 verse 24, 26, and 28 tells us in simple words what God is going to do?
In verse 24; “God also gave them up—”, to what, the lust of their hearts.
Then again in verse 26;
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.”
Then once more in verse 28 we have this;
“God gave them over to a reprobate mind,—”
In the epistle of James chapter 1 verse 15 we have this;
“ Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”
I could go on but I won’t, let me attempt to bring it full circle. Romans 1 verse 24 has man dishonoring their bodies. In verse 26 we have motherhood debased by the women. In verse 28, we have the mind of the people turning into having a reprobate mind. James tells us lust conceived leads to death. And last we return to Proverbs chapter 1 verse 26 God will laugh at our calamity; and He will mock when our fear cometh.
It has been said that the last thing of moral consequence to leave the social fabric is motherhood and the protection of our children. When the women changes the natural use of their bodies into something vile and against nature we have brought forth death of the social order through sin.
My point is simple we can not expect to fix any of the problems if we are not willing to be fixed our self through repentances and a return to God through the cross of Jesus Christ.
I know, I know, we have change coming but that change is not going to help and any fool that believes that it will, will only show you the depth of trouble we are in.
