How Deep Are We In Trouble?
Jun 29th, 2008 by Randy Toman
It is plain that complete havoc is being made of society and its Christian system; we have consented and allowed a philosophy that is not from the Bible. We now live in a time of prosperity and in a time of trouble. This paradox has blinded the American people to the point that there is no discussion of substance or truth regarding the grave consequences that are pending. The facts of the situation no longer are put in order, they are misused and perverted to the point that they can be emotionalized with hype and feel good–ism.
Modern liberalism and the progressive movement whatever judgment maybe passed upon it, is at any rate no longer merely an academic matter. It has moved from the University and College classroom to the campus protests, to the streets and is now in the root of families and the halls of government. It has become so insidious a plaque that we are now under its effect to the point that we “avoid giving offence” to any of the political correctness which is put forth by the Liberal element. Material betterment along with the liberal movement has gone hand in hand into the 21st. century thinking they are promoting a good society all the while shifting goodness of mankind and killing the soul. We can readily see this in all walks of life and especially in government and how they deal with the social issues of its citizens. Men are expected to believe not on the authority of God, but on that of reason and reasoning is not possible without Gods laws.
It has been interesting to watch how the leaders within government are handling the gasoline issue. It has now escalated through higher prices to where it is a serious problem to everyone, government, the economy, business, and the citizen. Why are we not drilling for oil?
I’m told there are two hurdles that must be gotten over and corrected. One Congress must rescind a law they have passed forbidding drilling for the oil. And second the president must sign an executive order annulling a past presidential order that forbids drilling for the oil. Why they are not doing this is beyond my understanding.
This issue of high priced gasoline and to drill or not to drill has caught the liberals and progressives on the horns of a dilemma. It fly’s in the face of the direction they thought they were going. It will also be interesting to see how long the Republicans and our president will fool around with their direction of action. Direction of action is only a problem if you are jockeying for position and/or power maybe both. All the while “We the People” are furious as to the lack of action on the part of government. I believe the issue, to drill or not to drill, will be forced by the people, if not, it will show how deep we are in trouble.

Reasoning is not possible without God’s laws?
Really?
huh,
Hitler thought he was reasonable when he murdered millions of innocent people. Where did his laws come from? Did they come from God (the 10 commandments), or did he make them up? Are we born knowing what reasonable laws are or do we have to be taught? Most of our pesent laws are derived from where? They came from the 10 Commandments and we all better hope that never changes, really!
