Just Another Statistic of Warning–but we know not how to fix it

I never fail to read my “Miles Franklin” e-mail newsletter. This issue May 22, 2009 issue #100 has its usual interesting tidbits in it, but the one on page 14, is uncomplicated and hits me with clarity and force.
“Since the fall of 2007, the number of employees forced to work part-time due to the economic slow down has doubled to over nine million people—that’s two million more then at any time in 54 years of collecting the data.”
They go on to say there is:
“—a close correlation between the start of a recession and a sharp shift to using part-time workers. And conversely, that when an economy recovers, the use of part-time workers falls off quickly.”
And finally we have the:
“Lesson of the day? This is one of the few reliable indicators of an economic turnaround…watch it closely. Until you see a distinct reversal in the indicator, ignore the government’s happy talk of green shoots and continue to rig for stormy economic weather.”
The question now becomes how bad and/or stormy do the American people think it is or is going to get?
I say they (the American people) know something is wrong but do not fully grasp the extent of the situation. They understand very little in the shift from a Republic with a Capitalistic foundation, hinging on Biblical principles rooted as a Western Civilization and going to Socialism heading into Marxism and possible Dictatorship. Our president and this government know fully well, the direction it is taking its citizens. You can make no mistake, believing he knows his direction and has continued in that direction with his latest proposed appointment to the Supreme Court.
We have an economic system, which has perverted capitalism to something that we no longer recognize, nor do we understand. We are forced to use a system that is called one thing “Capitalism” yet it has and continues too enslave us through the mechanism of debt creation using the “Federal Reserve System”.
We give no consent for this but all systems within government appear to not need our consent to do any of their dastardly deeds. If we don’t get back to “Biblical Principles” within government, understanding the meaning of consent and were our rights truly come from, I’m afraid there will not be any turning of this mess around for we know not how to fix it.
