Lack of Leadership

Why is it that the Republican party has such a hard time finding leaders? I’m not referring to politicians only. Maybe they are looking in the wrong places or maybe they just aren’t looking. I know they are out there but I think they need to be encouraged to get involved considering the hostile environment between the parties.
I just read an article by Mychal Massie, one of my favorite people. He is a very principled man and is as tough as nails relative to his conservative ideas. He even looks tough as nails. You owe it to yourself to read his articles. Here is but one of those:
