Mike Welsh told me.

September 9, 2088 Tuesday was an interesting day for me. I had coffee with Mike Welsh in the morning. Mike is running for 132nd legislative District here in Pennsylvania as the Republican candidate. The 132nd takes in, so Mike tells me, west of Allentown and Allentown itself, which includes downtown Allentown.
It was a pleasant surprise when I found Mike to be a couple of things.
1/ He was completely honest and open in our discussions wanting to hear what I had to say. (Not to many people want me to ask them any question, let alone be open with me, ask any of the elected officials)
2/Completely open when asked what he thought of a particular issue even though he knew I was fishing and/or priming the pump, wanting to know his position, he freely gave me his position without the arrogance of self center-ness or self power.
3/ His position with regards to the police pension was acceptable with only some minor qualification on my part.
4/ What was most interesting was the fact that Mike conveyed an honest caring and concern for the city and its people.
Those of you who are truly concerned with Allentown’s future and think that a Hockey Rink and Baseball Team just might not save the city, I believe they will not, I would urge you to contact Mike Welsh 484-347-1833 and find out more about this guy.
The country is sick economically, culturally and at risk of dying and none of the politicians seem to understand that fact. Maybe they just don’t care, so the question becomes why is that? People must take the time to understand what is happening. Mike Welsh does understand and told me that over coffee.
