Now Tell Me?

Being independent of government interference and having economic self-sufficiency was equated to “virtue” in ones life. J.G.A. Pocock “Virtue and Commerce in the Eighteenth Century” called such economic independence “Virtue” and its lack or loss “Corruption”. If individual lost his economic independence his moral health would be undermined by a dependence on government or social superiors. His concern for public good would then give way to concern for his own economic survival. Such demoralization of individuals could only give rise to a social order whose attitude would be selfish in nature. And once that type of emotional affliction set in J.G.A Pocock said it is “likely to prove uncheckable”.
The Federal Government, over the past 30+ years, in its efforts to subordinate the individual’s rights to government worked diligently toward that end and to make matters worse our government has given way to a global subordination. This direction of the Federal Government toward a Global one-world order is forcing a relinquishing of sovereignty on the part of America, it is giving up individual natural rights that citizens had through their god, the culture and it’s changes must be forced into line with the lowest common denominator of world morals, and the well being of community must be controlled by laws not individuals acknowledging and accepting a higher authority. What I have just said is common knowledge to the entire elitist cadre that walked the halls of government.
The drift toward this social/culture control was temporally halted from the mid 40’s through the mid 60’s when you had unprecedented prosperity and the government lost control of the individual and families. Both families and the individual were solid and family life instilled responsibility to God, Family and Country on its’ family members. People felt comfortable with their success and with their own self-reliance’s, they knew efforts would be rewarded.
From the late 60’s into today we have a continuing deterioration of morals, ethics, and rights. These two (Morals/Ethics and Rights) linked together having a cause and effect started with nothing more then an abstraction of imposed authority, as we had further deterioration, abstraction of authority became a forced necessity of real authority. With this increase in authority due to necessity we have a falling away of rights.
Reasoning for the individual has nothing to do with what he might think is right and what is actually happening around him. The “Political Correctness” and its’ abstract authority has total power to not only keep the person in line but will cause confusion as to what is really the proper action to be taken by the individual. The fact that the government has in place laws is the important thing not the fact that they may or may not be just, it is control that is needed by government not if they are just and needed.
The lines of J. G. A. Pocock “Virtue” and “Corruption” could not be made clearer then what we have today. We have a combination of corrupt reasoning through the fall of Adam and a government that is concerned with its own expansion. Government concern for its citizens is about to go from something that is being questioned, to the citizen not believing they are being looked after. And worse they are about to understand what Pocock is talking about with his “Virtue” & “Corruption”. Politicians and their Government are fools if they think they can buy allegiance of their citizens through welfare, suppressive laws of control, and handing out checks. And the bigger fools of the two parties, you tell me which one that might be the Republican or the Democrats? The Democrats know what they want (power) the Republicans haven’t got a clue. Now tell me who are the fools and who is evil.
