Obama and the release of Lockerbie bomber

So now we find out by a secret memo released from the Sunday Times in London, that Obama preferred to see Al-Megrahi’s release in Scotland instead of releasing the bomber to the Libyan authorities so he could be put in jail. All this for “compassionate” reasons! Did Obama think Al-Megrahi would really be put in jail, in Libya! What world is Obama living in? Some excerpts from the Times:
“Scottish officials viewed U.S. resistance to the release as “half-hearted.” The Guardian reported on the existence of the memo last year, but the U.S. government reportedly has tried to keep its contents secret–”
No wonder Obama wanted to keep his feelings on the release of the Lockerbie bomber away from the public! Another quote from the Times:
“The Obama administration told Scottish officials last August that, although it opposed any release of the Lockerbie bomber, it would rather see him released in Scotland than transferred to a Libyan prison–”
Why would Obama say he opposed the release and then say he would rather see the bomber released to live in freedom in Scotland opposed to being in a Libyan jail when he knew the bomber would NEVER be put in prison in Libya?
Simple! Obama has more compassion for the bomber than the 270 people the the bomber killed, most of them American!
Is this the Obama the Democrats voted for? Either his voters were fooled by Obama’s slick talk on “change we can believe in” or they are just like him! You decide!
