Or is it?

“A free society needs people with consciences. The vast majority of people must obey the law voluntarily. If people don’t conform themselves to the law, someone will either have to compel them to do so or protect the public when they do not. It costs a great deal of money to catch, convict, and incarcerate lawbreakers — not to mention that the surveillance and monitoring of potential criminals tax everybody’s freedom if habitual lawbreakers comprise too large a percentage of the population.”
Jennifer Morse 2003 Hoover InstitutionWhat she did not say in her article (Prison or Parents) was that it would eventually lead to the disintegration of the country. She talks about the lack of two-parent (Mother and Father) family and the problems it leads to. This is yet another problem area that is not being correctly addressed by the Politician. As a matter of fact it might be argued that they and government should not even be involved.
You know between the abortion sin and the break up of the family unit, we may not need the economic problems to bring us down. And as far as losing our culture identity and the invasion from our southern borders, terrorism, drugs, crime, all of it, may just be the icing on the cake in the final dismantling of the country, if the family unit goes so does the country. The Hoover Institution also argued that if the family goes so does religion. I would say that might be true but more so there would not be a need for religion without the family unit because we would all go to HELL pretty quick.
As I have been watching this election cycle unfold I have been asking myself how did we get to this point in history that I can be absolutely negative with what I think is a truth (This country is coming apart at the seams) and have so many people agreeing with me. It is not that they can’t agree with me or even the fact that I view things with such a negative lenses but what concerns me is that with all of us knowing and agreeing there is something wrong, nothing is being done about the problems. I believe there are people working diligently in these different areas attempting to resolve the problems but not with enough impact to change the course of things and that should be a concern along with the problem itself.
The fact that it appears that nothing is and/or can’t be done about these problems is something serious to think about. I was talking yesterday with a politician on the state level. The surprising thing about our talk is that he agreed with me that there are serious problems and I don’t think he was agreeing with me just to agree.
I’ll close with this. Maybe there really isn’t anything wrong and all those of us that think there is, listen to much talk radio. We should all turn off the radio, talk radio would go out of business, the liberals would be happy, we can all sleep at night, and all of us can skip happily down the path of life. But some how I can’t bring myself to believe that is the answer or is it? Somebody tell me.
