Pa Must Decide!

One of the most exciting races in Pa is the one between Tom Corbett and Sam Rohrer. The other big race is between Toomey and winner of the Dem primary, which will be Sestak or Specter. Which is worse, Sestak who really believes in what he says or Specter who believes in nothing but winning? Not much, since Sestak and almost all Democrats, has been brainwashed into believing Socialism is better than a free and competitive economy called “Capitalism”, an idea promoted by our Forefathers and worked well, however not perfect, for over 200 years. It has made us the best and most prosperous and free country in the world. The Democrats want everyone to be “equal”, not the same as being fair or free. I often wonder what “equal” means. Equal to Kenya?
Toomey will run against the primary winner and I assume that will be Sestak. There is a problem with Sestak though. Didn’t Sestak claim that he was offered a “gravy train” job by the Whitehouse? He did, but never mentioned who spoke with him or what the job was. Why was he offered a great job? Sounds like a “get out of the race so Specter can win and we’ll make it worth your while” kind of deal. Talking about things like this can be unhealthy! Bad move there, Mr Sestak! In any case, Toomey is clearly the best choice for the Senate! He is honest! What a concept!!
Now, Corbett and Rohrer is an interesting story. We all know of the prosecution of corrupted politicians by A.G. Tom Corbett and we all applaud him for it! You can bet Tom made a few enemies and many are wondering what his motivation truly was! At the Pa Leadership Conference the other day in Harrisburg, Tom stated that the Constitution is a ”living” document! He also doesn’t seem to have an opinion of what to do about the high property tax issue. What?? A Republican said that? If he was serious, he just signed his death warrant as a politician in the “new” conservative Republican party that should emerge this fall.
As an outsider, I took a very close and objective look at Sam Rohrer. He served well as an 18 year veteran in the General Assembly and appears, according to most logical and caring voters, to be an outstanding person. In my humble but always correct opinion, he is the better man for Governor.
Corruption is a huge problem in government. That brings up Rendell! We already have enough phonies calling themselves ”Statesmen”! Let’s change that in Pa. Sam Rohrer and Pat Toomey deserve your consideration for the betterment of Harrisburg and the rest of Pennsylvania. For God’s sake, don’t be like Chicago! You know, the city that doesn’t want law abiding citizens to have a weapon for self defense, even if concealed. Crime and corruption always seems to be higher in a Democrat controlled welfare state. There is just too many people that seem to have an entitlement mentality at the expense of the working class, especially the rich. That exempts the Democrat politicians who are actually the non-working class, of course.
All of this brings to mind how important it is to vote for honest people who don’t want to “buy” our votes with our own taxes. Isn’t that what has happened to us for too many years? We seemed to have lost our will to be number one in the world. Obama and the Democrat party believes we should be at the bottom so that every country feels sorry for us and wants to help us. Good luck with that concept! I guess that is the difference between the right and the left. I want to help others, not depend on others to help me.
Just maybe, I mean just maybe, the legalized killing of our unborn started this whole notion of the value of a single human being as being un-important to the big picture of creating the Utopian world that the left wants. That’s the “hope and change” that Obama was talking about. Real hope and change occurs when God fearing people in our own neighborhoods care about all life and the kind of people we pick for our leaders. Our votes have consequences and we are seeing the effect of that now like never before.
