The common folks are not stupid but they just don’t have the time nor the resources to be consistently looking at what is wrong and how the politicians should be addressing these different problems.  We have such a mess that all the leaders of the two parties do not have clue as to what to do and it is becoming more apparent with each passing day. 
It is now quite clear as to who has the money through their oil production and it is not reassuring to the folks out here, all the while we are arguing if we should drill for oil.  What can be more foolish then what is happening to his once great nation?

The following missive encapsulates everything you need to know. Please pass this along wherever there is interest.

There are indeed a lot of things happening in the world - and some have terrible consequences. The politicos are scheming intensely.

I played a business game in university involving three teams running three companies who were all competing to make the most profits. The economic situation today mimics that game and its eventual outcome. If one team made a mistake, invariably the other two teams turned against it with blood in their eyes. We expected the other team to turn on the weaker player and planned accordingly.

In my humble opinion the following factors are particularly relevant to today’s economic situation:

The fiat money system around the world is a house of cards. There is no entity I know of that can borrow forever without paying back someday. Disregarding Europe, (which seems to be suffering worse that the US at the moment if you believe all the propaganda out there), I doubt the amount borrowed by the US Feds - never mind the states and cities, the corporates and individuals, will ever be paid back - and we are talking trillions. (Remember that the Gross National Product of the USA is between 10 and 15 Trillion). Mother Nature has her own ways of extracting payment.

When Central bankers around the world collude to save something - be it the financial system, the dollar or whatever - they never commit to such a process unless there is a clear and present danger. That danger had to be recognized by all parties for them to take any action, whatever the outcome.

When the problems with our financial system became apparent, countries started “diversifying” out of the US$. (Read “dumping” it as quickly as possible without starting a panic.) Aside from the last few days, which I attribute largely to “open market operations” (read manipulation) and the fact that markets never go in a straight line, the US$ has been slipping badly against all currencies, and the effort to “diversify” has spread to nearly every country.

The dollar is a forty pound weakling and the whole world knows it. The dollar underpinned nearly every currency in the world (including the Euro) and still does to a large extent despite the “diversification.” The clear and present danger affects all fiat currencies around the world.

Governments have learned to distract others - particularly their voters - from an issue by setting up a straw dummy and knocking it down. In the case where the main thrust of some legislation would be roundly condemned, they add one positively draconian measure as a dummy and give it up to achieve all their other goals. What bigger distraction could there be than WWIII, nuclear/biological/EMP style? I think the US set out to distract their voters and the world from the financial problems by saber rattling over Iran. War is not only hell, it is expensive.

I think the US made a mistake. Russia recognized the ploy and has taken advantage of it. In 1989, when the USSR went bankrupt over the Cold War, the US was in bad financial shape as well. No war in history has ever been settled until one or both of the protagonists went broke.

Since that time, Putin has been busy, particularly in the oil patch, strengthening Russia’s financial position. (I suspect he now has FAR more reserves financially that the US  which currently amounts to only “the full faith” of the US and loans that are so large as to frighten most of the holders of that paper.)

The financial situation in the US continues to deteriorate. Parties around the world are less likely to lend their winnings to the US if they do not expect to get paid back, both in principle AND interest. It may be argued that the US has a superior military to Russia. I don’t know. What I do know is that the care and feeding of that military costs astronomical amounts. Will the US have to borrow from Russia in order to challenge them militarily as they currently do with China in order to trade? And then there is Afghanistan and Pakistan, two other quagmires. And who knows what China, with vast financial reserves, is thinking?

The US was busy steaming towards Iran and Georgia - the latter a US-backed country which attacked South Ossetia, a Russian-backed region. Within 24 hours, Russia had thousands of men and massive amounts of equipment in Ossetia. You don’t move that number of men and equipment in 24 hours unless you are fully prepared to do so, and even then it is difficult. It took many weeks for the US to move that amount of assets during Desert Storm. Russia was prepared, for whatever reason, for that attack. Ooops, suddenly the US is being attacked on another somewhat unprepared flank. The US had prepared for a great show of distraction, and could it be that Russia has other plans? Putin is not god but he is no dumbbell.

The US is between a rock and a hard place. They have wars on umpteen fronts and are trying to save their financial system which they need to fight even one war. Despite all the happy news in the markets of the last few days, the financial malaise is growing and not bottoming. Not only that, but world supplies of oil are tight, and the US imports at least two thirds of its oil. To maintain its world status and/or military, the US needs Iraq, Iran, AND Georgia.

I understand Mexico, a big supplier of oil, has just become a net importer. Canada, the largest oil supplier to the US, has conventional reserves that are dropping alarmingly. And despite its vast oil sands, Canada can’t expand oil production from this source very quickly. (Oil sands extraction needs fresh water, and they are almost at the limit now).

Moreover, if the West abandons Georgia, not only will they lose that oil source, their weakness will be apparent for all to see. And surely the other players in this game will turn on them. It is Mother Nature’ way.

This came to me at least second hand and was told to me via E-Mail, just so you don’t think I made it up.  And I must say I know perfectly well, grape vines can be totally un-reliable with their news but get a load of this.

I was told after the Olympics are over China will put the USA under their (almost trillion dollar debt) thumb.

In my last article I was trying to make the point that I believed there was a large percentage of the political leadership that just flat out ignored it’s constituents and go their happy way. Well add this to that problem http://www.cqpolitics.com/wmspage.cfm?docid=news-000002936721 and you begin to get a picture of desperation for the common folks and the survival of the country.

What you see above is serious enough but when you add the fact that the Republican Party should know; that the party is not about building lists of voters, fighting against or for some power, you real compound the problem.  It is about continually fighting for a righteous causes/issues.  The Republican Party has lost site of the fact that they must struggle to take charge of articulation of their cause and what that cause is to mean for the American people.  They have lost the ability to put forth a vision of “HOPE” and “CHANGE” grounded in the law of the land and the Biblical standard of Western Civilization.

We can look at George Soros and his elite cadre how they have almost succeeded (We shall see in November) in putting forth a shadow of a candidate in O’bama.  His substance is nothing more then putting hope and change up on a pedestal with absolutely nothing to support any of their claims.  They certainly can’t claim the constitution and the law of the land as foundational to their hope and change because that is exactly what they are trying to get rid of.  They can’t claim the Bible as a standard in which to base their hope and change on, why there is no god for them they all came from a mud puddle or a big bang.  They have nothing to guide their grand scheme, motivated purely by, Socialist, Marxist Ideology, personal torment, desire for glory and of course their own ego where ever that will lead.

We have come to and are at a crossroads of a major struggle in secular ideology make no mistake about that.  The struggle is between the New Progressives, Socialist, Marxist and the Neo- Conservatives with an element of the Right Wing Conservative attempting to throw their 2 cents in.  The doctrine of Separation of Church and State has put God, Jesus Christ and that religion right were the ACLU thinks it should be—out of government. 

Let me try and summarizes this—We are being ignored, we have no religion in government, George Soros is pouring millions into a marketing plan to sell Hope and Change with O’bama heading the parade, everyone is going to get re-elected, (see above) we are about to run out of oil and food because of cost, the Republican Party haven’t got a clue as to what direction the country should be taking, every Tom, Dick and Harry is pouring across our southern border, the terrorist wants to cut our heads off and guess what bring religion back into government, the planet is about to over heat, melt the ice and drown the folks along the coasts, is there anything I missed?  If I have, just drop me a line, and I’ll be happy to add it to the list.  In the mean time somebody try and get through to some politicians and tell them to come back from vacation and see if they can save the country. I know, I know there is really nothing wrong, and what the heck am I talking about?  You tell me.  

It seems to me that Republican Leadership is going the way, as Tim Rutten puts it, “—the passenger pigeon on the roster of extinct Americana.” 

In one respect we are all un-alike because we each forge our own particular set of errors and flaws.  These particular set’s of errors some how come together in a common large-scale problem and that is what we see in the liberal Media.  As Tim Rutten points out in his article, http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-newrutten9-2008aug09,0,3175773.column, how can this happen?  Why is it happening?  Maybe the question should be; is this happening?  Is the News Media really in collusion, controlling what and how news worthy information is being presented?

Don’t think me to ignorant because I only want to establish that it is happening and then ask why.

Let me make just one more comment with regards to Media control, perceived or real, there is a much greater problem that falls within this arena of control and that is flat out ignoring the people by the leadership.  I’m talking about political leaders on all levels completely ignoring any efforts on the part of any responsible person trying to put forth an effort in correcting any situation.

Let me give you just a few examples of the citizens being completely ignored.

(A) Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi shutting down congress—The majority of the people wanted them to stay in session and get something done.

(B) Drill or no drill—Last I heard 70% of the people wanted somebody to start drilling for something. (OIL)

(C) Tax and spend—The large percentage of the people think the government is spending to much and the economy has jump to the number 1 issue facing the nation.  Yet the Congress spend like a bunch of drunken you know what’s.

(D) State of PA.—The people of Pa. do not want the state roads sold off to foreign private enterprise, especially the Pa. turnpike. Yet the pushing of those efforts cannot be laid to rest.

(E) Local School Tax—People want school spending and the raising of school taxes to be brought under control. Yet it is not and they have continually raised taxes just under the maximum allowed by law, so there would not be a referendum vote needed by the people for approval.

(F) This last one brings it right to the individual level and personal.  I believe there are a large percentage of people that are being ignored as I have been over the years by different politic leaders who really didn’t want to either take on the issue because I was a pain in you know what and/or they thought it was not politically expedient or helpful to their political career.  It made no difference as to truth and/or if it truly was to the country’s benefit and the people. 

Media control is nothing more then ignoring the truth and people, they are printing what they want to and the same goes for the politician, ignoring truth and the individual and doing what they want.  Both do it for whatever reason, thinking it is to there benefit, and we allow them to ignore us, all the while we watch the country disintegrate.  Why are we letting this happen?  If anyone has the answer please do write me and put me at ease.

Man has shifted his responsibility for his behavior upon an impersonal society, a technological age were bureaucracy flourishes as something that is efficient and corrective.  As a result of our technological age society has lost all grasp of morals, ethics and we teeter on the brink of self-destruction. Man has been desensitized to the point were personal interaction is portrayed only as sex and lust with true affection for other human beings no longer existing and we have both society and the social network of church and religion becoming depersonalized.

We have secularized man to the point that even the humanist has started to question reason and the fact that it may not have enough reasoning in and of it-self to save man.  Man’s reasonability is reverting to power and that power through deception will further destroy man’s image and confuse the social fabric to were man will not know who or what he is.

Let me just inject this: Reasoning cannot truly save man and man will not know himself accept through God but that  is for another time, we have this for now.

”We have this strange phenomenon occurring right before our eyes and no one is recognizing it.  How is it that O’bama can talk of “Change” equating it to “Hope” all the while shifting the very base of power to himself and his control?  How is this?  How can the race card be played and nobody will call him and it evilness?  O’bama’s evilness and lack of experience for the office of president shows and it doesn’t matter what color he is, because color doesn’t make for evilness but a persons soul, heart, and mind does.  We had better know this man, even if we don’t know ourselves.  What he stands for will serve as us if he is elected.    

Obama is against choice in education for all citizens, which includes the poor. He isn’t poor and sends his kids to an exclusive private school. Most all Democrat politicians agree with him, yet most all Democrat politicians send their children to private schools. The MSM never talks about this because they want Democrats to win this next election. If you wonder why so many Democrat voters aren’t upset about the hypocracy of the Democrat party when it comes to school choice, it’s because they want the Democrats to win also. School choice for the poor doesn’t matter to the party that claims they care for the poor. This is the same reason Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat party doesn’t want to drill for oil. They really don’t care for the people, only the maintaining of power for their party. They get their gas and transportation compliments of us, the taxpayers, just as they get free school choice for their children. They are against school choice and drilling for oil for political reasons. Isn’t that obvious?

So what is the reason the libs want the Dems to win? My guess is that they want choice in whether or not to carry their unborn to full term. They want the ability to murder their unborn without being judged or to have to pay a penalty for being so wreckless in their personal behavior. Abortion is just another birth control method for many of the liberal “progressives”. Being irresponsible and making the unborn pay for their mistakes is ok by them. What causes one to be of this mindset? Lack of good moral values? Putting oneself ahead of all others? Thinking they are better than the people on the “right”? Thinking that they know what’s best for the rest of us? It’s all of the above and it shows in their arrogance toward us.

As Obama said, I’ll stick to my guns and my Bible for fear of the Socialists taking control of our government. The Socialists don’t need bibles and guns, they have the public schools, higher education, the entertainment industry, the ACLU and the MSM doing their work for them. Did anybody see Phyllis Schlafly’s article in “Human Events” July 28, 2008 front page  “NEA Delegates Adopted Radical Agenda”?

The nation’s largest teachers union, the National Education Association (NEA) attracted 9,000 delegates to its annual convention in Washington, D.C. over the 4th of July weekend.

Let me skip most of the evilness proposed by the NEA and just insert these couple of short paragraphs.

 “ The NEA fiercely opposes any competition for public schools, such as vouchers, tuition tax credits, parental option plans, or public support of any kind to non-public schools.  The NEA strongly opposes designating English as our official language even though such a designation is supported by more than 80% of Americans.”

 “The influence of the gay lobby is pervasive in dozens of NEA resolutions adopted by 2008 convention delegates.  Diversity is the code word used for pro-gay indoctrination in the classroom.”

 “The NEA puts “domestic partnerships, civil unions, and marriage” on an equal footing.”

 “The NEA wants public schools to take over the physical and mental care of students through school clinics that provide services, diagnosis, treatment, family-planning counseling, and access to birth control methods “with instruction in their use.”

We had a couple of weeks ago here in the Lehigh Valley, Pa. the “East Penn School Board” vote to raise school taxes.  Tax that sucks the life-blood out of the poor person on fixed income.  So here is a problem that is much more pervasive in nature and what should we think and/or do about it.

Nobody would have dared to bring any of these issues up on the floor at the school board meeting with 400+/- in attendance.  And don’t tell me these various issue were not in the final stages of planning for presentation at the convention.  And 4-6 weeks after the vote this same school district sent people (or was represented some how) to this convention of the NEA.

Why don’t those same folks that supported the tax hike ask those delegates what happen at the convention?  Making sure you ask and get their position with regards to voting.  Is what Ms. Schlafly’s wrote truly what was presented, pushed and voted on.  And make sure you ask what positions carried the day and is now part of NEA policy.  Last, ask the delegates for documentation of the NEA new policy position effective July 4th weekend.

Somebody had better wake-up.  The fact that we have a tax and spent mentality on the school board may not be the bigger of the problems and somebody on the school board should start questioning the NEA policies.  Why should I be concerned about that because higher taxes don’t really matter in a corrupt society, does it, ask the people of Sodom and Gomorrah?             

This went out to a fellow I know only through our E-Mail correspondence.  I thought I would put it out on the “Blog” and see what kind of reaction I would get.  This person was telling me of an individual he knows (Republican) that has gone over to the O’bama camp.   You can see I took it from that individual to the crowd.
 
Herman Dooyeweerd  in his book “In the Twilight of Western Thought”  quotes this from Aristotle;
”Aristotle concluded from this presupposition that the theoretical-logical function of thought has an activity quite independent of the organic life of the body and the sense orgins.” Page 12

Dooyeweerd goes on to separate presuppositional thinking from, if I can use my words “just reasoning as the person” and the person using his emotions, into the essences of a persons being.  What I believe Dooyeweerd to be after is the theoretical attitude of a persons thought, how he will apply his essences to critical thinking thereby using his ability to reason and the emotion.  This inner make-up will give the person his true routes of life and is called the Soul and was given to him by God and corrupted and died in Adams fall.  Being born again changes that presuppositional thinking at the essences of the individual that explains the difference in reasoning of Pelosi, Reed and some of the other Politicians in Washington and of-course all other people.

Now to what I wrote to this person;     
 
Without prolonging this discussion of mysticism, spirituality, and religion. Let me just say a couple more things in regards to O’bama and his ability to mesmerize crowds, which Hitler also had.  O’bama has the ability to bring together the theoretical attitude (the presuppositional belief) the-were one starts, and that is not reasoning as most people think.  That start is well inside ones soul and you can see that readily in Congress, they can’t and will never come together, only compromise.  (Back to O’bama)  He has the ability to reach people by bringing them together in their presuppositional thinking, the attitude of thought is bought together with the basic thinking and reasoning that makes HOPE a religious element.
That is why “ISSUE” arguing will never stand up to O’bama’s type of positioning, he constantly brings in the mystical element of hope thereby reaching the inner attitude, the presuppositional thinking.  That is why he is no good off teleprompter he can’t frame the comment in mystical terms without getting to religious causing him to bumble and grope for words in his attempt, because he is not a true believer in any religion but “Self” Humanism and Humanism is not capable reaching out to anyone, it is SELF period.

Issue arguing is fruitful only if truth is being sought after and both party are willing to start at the same position, IE: belief in God, God’s law, the Constitution, the Family, belief in Jesus Christ and these elements are in their basic presuppositional thinking.  And as you can see they are not in their belief system but HOPE is and therefore O’bama will prevail over truth because that is what people need and want and O’bama falsely will give it to them.

I would like to think the Republican Leadership understand this simple observation of truth, but I am afraid this simple truth is not in their thought process and worse it will never be because it is spiritually discerned.

By the way McCain will never go there because he can’t see those things nor does know of them, O’bama knows but only fakes them.  McCain will always stick to the Issues, with his analysis through his thought process.

Does anyone know the name Dana Walsh?  The men in the Republican leadership should all get to know her, she might teach you a thing or two about values, leadership and true grit.

She is running against Congresswomen Pelosi the speaker of the House in San Francisco-based 8th district, that has a GOP registration of 11% in the district, the same district that has Cindy Sheehan as an independent candidate running.

The Bloggers should dissect Ms. Walsh, taking her apart at the seams and see if see is for real and please before you jump all over me, I don’t mean that in a negative sense but only positively, because if she comes up clean she deserves the support of all conservatives and all the so called conservative “Blogs” across this land.  According to “Human Events” article she is—pro-life, anti-tax, and pro U.S. in Iraq.

What you will be watching in that election if she doesn’t win is “Evil” triumphing over “Good” and that should concern all of us.  Good is not Democrat or Republican and the vote should be for the best person, not the most evil.

Now I want to ask a real goofy question, what would you like to have whoever “Integrate and Assimilate” into what?  What is it that is “Free Everything” that can offer any kind of control over anything?  The only thing that might meet that specification/requirement is something called “Religion”.  Then again Religion may not offer the freedom one is looking for either if it happens to be the wrong religion.  So what is one to do?  Government offers only control and less and less freedom, so you really don’t want to go there, I don’t think?  Humanism the “Religion” of man is real dangerous if you happen to be the wrong kind of man and look and think differently.  So I guess this doesn’t appear to be such a goofy question after all.

If you throw into “Religion” the salvation of the soul, if you think you have one, you really confuse the issue, and if there is a Heaven and a Hell in the mix now what do you do?  Anybody want to try and help the people of the UK out, maybe we should say, of the world?  Get back to me if you think you have the answer.
