The latest from one of my financial e-mail newsletters, the dollar can’t do anything but cave in.  Where is the leadership —-the church—the government —the political party’s—the local leadership.  Something is going to happen and everyone will be asking—— What the heck happen to this country?  DON’T ASK
Consider these facts …

 The officially recognized national debt is $13.1 trillion
 Unfunded national obligations of Social Security, Medicare, government pensions and more equal $107.8 trillion
 $1.6 trillion U.S. Federal deficit
 Another $9 trillion in cumulative deficits over the next ten years
 $3.5 trillion owed to foreign investors
 Plus, another trillion dollars for health care reform, no matter what bill finally makes it through Congress
Grand total of U.S debts: 136 TRILLION.
To give you an idea of how big that is, imagine the government could somehow pay off that debt at the rate of $100 million per day, every day starting right now.
Even at that rate, it would take more than 3,450 years before the total government debts and obligations are paid off.
Bottom line: Savvy domestic U.S. and international investors are now realizing what I’ve been warning about for years … that …
America’s massive debts are un-payable!

The Bethlehem Area School District of PA is $295 million dollars in debt plus the City of Bethlehem, plus Northampton County, plus the State, plus the Federal government.  Are you kidding me—-have no idea what that number might be.  Add in all the States and school districts, counties, cities Etc. Etc. and what do you think—-that is one hell of a debt—don’t you think??????
Scary when you think of the culture, the mind set and attitude the people and the politicians have toward each other and the divide is getting wider, now throw in racism that is being promoted and you have the beginnings of a major problem.

My point—-I don’t hear anyone saying we have this type of or this great a magnitude of a problem.—NO one and if you think that is not true—- tell me who is saying what—– and be very specific—– I want names.  We have a major problem and no one seems to know and/or agree on the magnitude.

We are moving closer and closer to Communism under Obama and the Democrats using Marxist tactics! The traditional Democrat party has been overthrown by the far left. Wake up America, before it is too late.

There is in any social order foundational doctrines which contain elements that are widely accepted and are celebrated as being conscious affirmation of that which is shared.  There is an understood implication of a link with something transcendent and holds them together as a people.

Words on a paper certainly have meaning but their meaning goes much deeper when they are understood with Faith in a higher order and knowing that God is in charge of the complete order of things.

The Civil War (1860-1865) introduced here in this country discontinuance in the belief, faith and thinking of the people.  The injection of evilness into the social affairs of the people went unnoticed and each element could have been, but was not fought against has an attack of evil.  Look at them, consider the following and remember they were introduced one at a time, slowly without force as they infested society and the people, just as it has happen these last 18 months, with no one able to do anything about the slide.

1. The Enlightenment coming from Europe
2. Darwin’s theory of “Evolution”
3. Bankers attempts to bring in the FED (1865-1913)
4. The Social Gospel (1870-1940)
5.  Progressive Movement (1890- —-)
6. Socialism using the Social Gospel (1900 -1940)
7. Government (1930- —-) Taking the lead as big brother and instructor of the people rather then the church.
8.  Progressives and Socialism coming together (1960- —-) 
9. Belief in Jesus Christ, the Gospel, with Christianity slipping further from being central to the faith of conscious affirmation. (1950- —-)
10. The all mighty dollar (1980- —-)  Wall Street developing financial products that hid the dangers and responsibilities of the people, allowing expansion of debt both within government and the individual citizens to were debt is killing the people and country.

These 10 timed elements are by no means all inclusive as to what had happen in the 145-150 years since the Civil War, but gives a person a pretty good view as each break occurred in the social order.  These attacks were not noticed by the people and reaction to anyone of the points in history went unchallenged.  But now with the accumulation of deterioration we have a noticeable difference in the culture and makeup of the social order which has major damage to its fiber.

The prime question becomes; can the breach be repaired?  That question is not a simple one to answer because there are a large percentage of people within the social order who will say there is no breach: nor major problem and we just need to get back to conservative principles.  To which I say; you do not understand the depth of the breach.  It has gone well beyond simple wrongness to where the foundations have been destroyed and what can we do?  No one is asking the question, are the foundations destroyed and worse if that is so what are we to do? 

We Shall See if God will have mercy on the land and its people.         

We now know that racism by blacks against whites is acceptable and seems to be the new unwritten policy of the Department of Justice when it comes to voting rights. It happened in Philadelphia during the presidential election in 2008. Video clearly shows the undeniable evidence and the Justice Department says there isn’t enough evidence and cancelled the indictment after the suspects failed to show before the judge. One of the Black Panther members was screaming racial slurs at whites and calling for the killing of white babies! Some quotes from FOX News:

“The Bush Justice Department brought the first case against three members of the group, accusing them in a civil complaint of violating the Voter Rights Act. The Obama administration initially pursued the case, winning a default judgment in federal court in April 2009 when the Black Panther members did not appear in court. But then the administration moved to dismiss the charges the following month after getting one of the New Black Panther members to agree to not carry a “deadly weapon” near a polling place until 2012.”"Former Justice Attorney J. Christian Adams on Tuesday testified before the commission that his former employer not only abandoned the voter intimidation case for racial reasons, but had instructed attorneys in the civil rights division to ignore cases that involve black defendants and white victims.”

Can you imagine being caught with a weapon at a polling place and being told that “we’ll let you off the hook if you don’t carry that weapon at a polling place until 2012?” Will Obama deny this as he does every other charge he is guilty of?

I hear there is a challenge for Obama to show proof of birth being looked at on the US Supreme Court. Why are we not hearing about this in the mainstream media? Is he untouchable because he is black or because he is a Democrat? It’s both! The mainstream media will make that case for us very clear with their lame-brained excuses. At the heart of all of this is no moral values and Chicago mob style corruption. We can’t go to our own Justice department or mainstream media to stop the crime. Our top law officials are corrupt and anarchy is right around the corner. The mainstream media says nothing They are hostile towards the law abiding and cover for corruption by the Democrat party! They have become part of the problem!

Hope and Change? I see more and more change and less and less hope for America. I can’t imagine 28 more months of Muslim, Barack Hussein Obama and his anti America Socialist and Communist friends trying to destroy the United States. Where am I wrong?

Kagan, who ventured beyond the Law School to criticize policies of the United States military, remained silent when the regressive Saudis established a Center on campus that would be under the influence of the Sharia culture promulgated by the Saudi royal family.”

“And to add insult to injury, Kagan helped launch an Islamic Finance Project that advocates the United States following the British model of accepting Islamic laws of finance. In other words, Kagan believes that the laws that govern American society should not apply to Muslims. This should be of great concern to everyone who understands how this downgrades our Constitution, our legal system, and our way of life.”

So now, Obama wants to make up with Israel by sweet talking Netanyahu? Well, Netanyahu is in a bind! He knows that Israel and it’s security depends on having good relations with the United States. That means good relations with president Obama! Didn’t Obama bow to Muslim terrorist leaders and then walk out on an important meeting with Netanyahu after Netanyahu came all the way to the US for talks? Now Obama wants to have everyone think he is really mending relations with Israel. Is this because he knows that the Democrats need all the votes they can get this November? Typically, near 75% of Jewish Americans vote for the Democrats and voted for Obama in 2008. Will they make the same mistake again?

Recently, Obama selected a Muslim sympathizer to head up NASA. The new policy for NASA is to bring the Muslim countries in on space exploration in an effort to “make them feel important”! Doesn’t it seem that everything Obama touches, turns into favoring Muslims in one way or another?  This should bother all the Jews that Obama brought into his inner circle but I hear nothing in the mainstream media. How about Geithert, Barney Frank, Rahm Emanual and the many Jews in the media? Are they hypnotized by Obama smooth talk? Maybe that “tingle” went all the way up to their brains! We will see in November.

I would like to pickup from there and continue on.  The social network made up of the citizens from these two different cities, the “City of God” and the “City of Earth”, have different values and these values which are embraced by these different citizen are irreconcilable, making it impossible to blend them into a workable form of government. 

Let me try and explain the politics and the contradictions these two cities have imbedded in them.  A government system cannot cure the disease of the human being, it is spiritual, one understands that, the other does not, one understands the cause, the other does not understand, one understand the spiritual nature of the problem the other does not understand that it is a spiritual problem.  “The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men”, Paul tells us this in Romans 1:18.  The citizens of the Godly City know this and fear God’s judgment and hope in the future for a heavenly city, the citizens of the “City of Earth” don’t know that, and if they are told, they would not accept that information as a truth.  They believe they can, through government, create a city of perfection.

Now it continues to get worse for the “City of Earth” when; “Professing themselves to be wise, they become fools.” Romans 1:22.  “They also changed the truth of God into a lie,” Romans 1:25.  It finally gets this bad, “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans 1:32.

Verse 32 must be understood before you really start to understand were we are and at what level we are being taken to.  It tells us they (the citizen of the City of Earth) have pleasure in watching others do bad things.  We have seen bad things happening and no one is willing to step-up and say, these things are wrong.  Now whether you are from the “City of God” and are keeping your mouth shut, especially the Pastor, or if you are from the “City of Earth” and enjoy this kind of perversion both will get the same results, nothing is being corrected.  

Government is coercive by its nature and authoritarian by law so we have a government and social order that can quickly turn on its citizens if control of and/or the elements of correction within it are dead.  We have a government whose negative charge is turned into brute force in suppressing its citizens and government being elevated to status well above norm; having evil people enjoying and having pleasure in watching and doing evil.  The coercive nature of political authority has been and is largely ignored in contemporary American politics, why, because we were for the most part a Christian Nation and need not watch that closely and the politicians were for the most part from the “City of God”.  That had changed almost over night, even with the signs and winds of changes blowing harder and harder in each election cycle, was anyone paying attention?

Coercion and the having of a good society is impossible, people cannot be forced to be good and/or do good by any government action or law.  It is just another aspect of showing deterioration or failure of a social order, the laws will become more suppressive and the citizens will show less respect for the laws, especially the young citizens for they know not the laws of old, such as the Constitution and old English laws which were paid for in blood.  The resorting to coercive means represents the breakdown and not the flowering of that social order, and with the proliferation of laws and regulations that signals serious destructive internal forces in motion, with God lifting His protective hand from off the land, all the while the people are becoming less God fearing as the cycles continue and deterioration becomes more prevalent and widely accepted.

We Shall See how long this can go on, this cycle will either be broken or it will continue to destroy America.  Pray God will have mercy on us.             

We tend to lump politics into a general term which includes everything to do with government, establishment of law, the administration of justice and doing some kind of good through a government agency.  That phenomena is indispensible with the idealism of classical thinking regarding government and the Progressive Socialistic thinking of today, it fits perfectly into their political thinking of classical thought and Socialism and its concept were the State is the highest mode of social existence.  The existence of the human being is thought to be so entwined with needing the state, that the state becomes the essences of their needs therefore it is always thought of as the highest need for the social order. 

Within this distortion of what the state has become, we have it being given something that continues to deceive and corrupt the citizen, that something is a reverence bordering on supposed holiness.  Government is hardly, a noble phenomenon, nor does it deserve a religious devotion, because it is quite literally a necessary correction to an evil and is nothing to celebrate nor was it put in place to be glorious.  The government was there to punish evil doers because of the fall of man, it was thought by the founding fathers to be a minimal social force that we call today “Limit Government”.

Today we are confusing doing good, earthly peace and the tranquility of order through a Republic/Democratic form of Capitalistic limited government, a pluralistic social order that exists with any government.  It is based on earthly peace and some definition of good which can never be agreed on as to right and wrong of the issue and/or what is the truth of that value.  For we constantly argue from two different starting point, one is arguing from a perceived “City of God” while the other is arguing from the “City of Earth” and its government, that order, that essence of man and his highest level of being, is corrupt.

The “Citizen of God” and the “Citizen of Earth” will never agree on the starting point, that point being, Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible.  The citizen of earth and God will agree on limited government but the citizen of the earth will never understand why we must have Jesus Christ, God’s 10 Commandments and the Bible.  The Citizen of earth will want nothing but so called reasoning of values through Natural Law to guide them.  They fail to understand that their essences are all in agreement through the fall, evil through that sin and they vary only because of God, and their will being changed and God’s free grace, which establishes their position in life.

No assertion is of more value than the opposite, so, too, no law is worth any more than it’s opposite.  Likewise, since we cannot perceive the essence or nature of things, and of man, a natural law is impossible, only Biblical law can work, without God and the Bible there is no agreement on liberty and what it is, no agreement on limited government and what that is, worse no agreement of the essences of values whatever they might be, and finally no agreement on rights and wrongs.  The man from the earthly city will not understand a good man of the “City of God” nor will he know what is to become of himself  and worse; why that is to happen, he doesn’t realize he has sinned against God.  We have the man of the city constantly making correction to the instructions of how the government is to run, never understanding it is the people that are corrupt.

The man of the Earthly City has no desire to believe man is corrupt, nor will he admit the issue cannot be corrected because it is this combination of the corrupt human being first and then the issue itself that needs to be examined and corrected.  If there is less and less men in government coming from the “City of God” you will have a nature decline in government, with righteousness slowly (Initially) going out of government.

We shall see if this can be corrected and/or reversed, because the decline in government is now in the rapid stages of deterioration and is about to fall.  Government serves a negative function: to restrain the wicked, it has lost that element.

Note: “A Whale” is a Huge oil skimmer ship from Taiwan.

“The latest hopes are riding on a massive new skimmer to clean oil from near the spewing well in the Gulf of Mexico, while a local Louisiana parish’s plan to block the slick has been rejected by federal officials.”

“A Whale is being tested close to the wellhead because officials believe it will be most effective where the oil is thickest rather than closer to shore.

The ship arrived in the Gulf on Wednesday, but officials have wanted to test its capability as well as have the federal Environmental Protection Agency sign off on the water it will pump back into the Gulf, which will contain trace amounts of crude.

The wait has frustrated some local officials, who say the mammoth skimmer would be a game-changer in keeping oil from reaching vulnerable coastlines.

During a Thursday tour of the inlet to Barataria Bay, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal said it was exasperating to have A Whale anchored offshore instead of being put to immediate use.

“They’ve used the war rhetoric,” Jindal said aboard a boat floating in oil-slicked waters near Grand Isle. “If this is really a war, they need to be using every resource that makes sense to fight this oil before it comes to our coast.”

The governor, who has been outspoken in his criticism of the relief effort, also criticized a decision by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to reject a proposal by Jefferson Parish to build a series of rock dikes to protect the ecologically important Barataria Bay.

Parish officials were using a fleet of barges — dubbed the “Cajun Navy” — as temporary barriers to block the oil, but some was still seeping in. The Corps found that the dike plan was incomplete, lacking a designated agency to remove the barriers, a restoration plan for environmental damage and data to measure any such damage.

“The Corps took weeks to review the plan only to reject it today — and this denial is another unfortunate example of the federal government’s lack of urgency in this war to protect our coast,” said Kyle Plotkin, Jindal’s press secretary.”

Does all of this sound as though the Democrats and Obama are serious about the oil spill? Does Obama love America or does he hate America? Is he a leader or just a smooth talker? Does his action or in-action speak louder than words? How much more proof do we need to understand the difference between a “rock star” celebrity and a real leader? How did all of this possibly happen? I suspect it happened by our government schools and universities teaching our young that Socialism and Communism is just another good form of government and that Capitalism is bad. All I can say is:  November, hurry up!

WE SHALL SEE and shortly don’t you think—–followers of Jesus Christ first then the Jews or maybe it will be reversed Jews 1st and Christians 2nd. in either case Western Civilization will go, which right now is the USA and the Constitution.  Between Obama socialist attacks, which no politician seems to be able to stop, and the terrorist attacks through the Muslim religion——we have a serious problem and all the Politicians who have there head in the sand or some other place don’t write me until you pull it out of where ever you may have it and look around.

You know I really don’t know what to say, the politicians are forcing the American citizens into a terrible corner of no escape and there is going to be major repercussions with ill repairable damage to this country.  What is surprising to me, is this mess stays together this long.

Let me try and make two points both not even getting on any scale of importances.

1.  We (6 of us) started up a group called Concerned Citizens of Bethlehem Area School District (CC-BASD) some 18 months ago.  We have tried to work with the school board in any number of ways but have not gotten any cooperation from the school board—no cooperation from any politician—and very little response from the people as if there is no problem and they can just keep on raising taxes enslaving the people through taxation.

Dear School Board Directors:

I am writing on behalf of CC-BASD (Concerned Citizens of Bethlehem Area School District) to protest the 2010-2011 Budget which you just passed in the amount of 6.17%.
You passed a school property tax increase in 2009 for 5.1%.

Since reason and common sense seem to evade you on a regular basis, the pleas of taxpayers are unheard and disregarded, it appears as a Board of Directors you are not living up to your responsibilities.

Boards of Directors are supposed to identify, analyze and solve problems.  You have done none of these.  Instead you merely figure out how much money you need to carry on as before, and then proceed and declare Victory.

I challenge you next year to go to a voter referendum for any property tax increases instead of applying to the state for permission to do what you do.  That would be a true test of what parents and taxpayers want in this District.  If the voters support you in a referendum, then that’s one thing.  That you were elected by the voters in this District says you need to be guided by their wishes.  On your own, you are unable to make that determination.

We have repeatedly supplied you with information that points to the poor academic achievement in this District while paying top dollar for it, and this Board dismisses scholastic achievement as unworthy.  Your definition of education seems skewed to us.

We want our children to be equipped for the future and to be able to compete in a global world where others will not treat them so kindly if they are falling short.  You are more concerned with their self esteem which in the end sets them up for potential failure in the real world.  Asia will not care that you made them all feel good about themselves during their formative years if they cannot do advanced math, science, read, or write proper papers.

Children need to know early on how they stack up, how well or poorly they’re doing so they have a chance to study and work harder.

If you have taken the time to read this, I am thankful.  But, unfortunately this protest and commentary will be dismissed just as all the others have been.   We no longer have faith in your abilities to do the right thing which is to perform your duties.

I have sent two separate emails to you today:  one from Rep. Sam Rohrer on the State Budget crisis and unfunded state pension liabilities; the other from Commonwealth Foundation addressing data on PA Education Spending.  At some point very soon, you need to be paying attention to what is facing this state and this district.  When do you intend to do that?

2. We have a state body (Pennsylvania) of elected office holders who for the last 7 years have not past one budget on time, but this one flew through without any delay.  WHY???????
Let me speculate on the why.  Its election time and seven years into this economic slide none of the politicians want to rock the boat because the boat is sinking and worse not even the Republican Leadership want to defend the citizens and question what the heck they are going to do with the pension problem.  Why it is rumored that all Republican leadership got together in the various committees and rubber stamped everything for the Democrats and held back until the last minute and released it to the floor for vote with a strong suggestion from Republican leadership to their people—– make sure it passes. 

Now that is speculation on my part, I wasn’t there and some little bird didn’t tell me, but don’t bet something like that didn’t happen.  What is troubling—– we have no sharp reporter who isn’t thinking like this—-they (the Democrats-Rendell) didn’t pass one budget on time in his 2 terms in Harrisburg—-why would they pass one now—-how did this happen–and why didn’t the Republicans push to resolve the pension issue—-this stinks to high heaven something is wrong someplace—– let me see if there isn’t a story here.  Are you kidding, why would any reporter think like that—-they all came out of the Progressive school of journalism—why hell— they don’t even know or understand—- thinking the citizens exist only to pay taxes.

We Shall See and let me close with this —-I personally believe both the Bethlehem School District and the State is every close to Bankruptcy and given the economic conditions it just might happen in the next two years—OR SOONER.       
 

I received the (see below) e-mail from PA. Rep. Rohrer’s blog site.  I could not agree more with Rep. Rohrer——from were I’m sitting it looks even worse.  So I will carry the situation one step further and say the local governments and school boards must start to feel the pinch on the money supply, within two years and/or as soon as 2011 the first quarter of next year.  As the money dries up, revenues will fall, and budgets can not work and short falls will cause disasters in meeting financial obligations.

We have county budgets that will not be met, a Bethlehem Area School District carrying $295 + million debt and not being able to meet their debt obligation, the city of Bethlehem whose revenues will absolutely fall as their revenue streams dry up.  All will suffer as things start to implode and the life line of taxation, the tax payer, is hurt more and more by job looses and failing family structures and no Church net work to help.

I sent this note to my colleagues in the State House this week, and thought you’d be interested in getting my sense of the enormous challenge and opportunity presented by Pennsylvania’s present fiscal situation.  As always I believe a principled approach, not a political one, is our best way forward.

Dear Colleagues,

As we move forward on the 2010-11 Budget, I thought that the following article would be helpful to understanding the gravity and seriousness of our current fiscal insolvency. I know that “insolvency” is a frightening word, but it is a fact. Most of our states are insolvent including our own Commonwealth. I used this term regularly during the gubernatorial race leading up to our May Primary. To be insolvent means we don’t have the money to pay our obligations - and we don’t. We’re not yet bankrupt but in my judgment, not more than a couple of years behind California.  I am gravely concerned that without a very quick dose of reality where we get serious about fixing our underlying problems with our enormous structural deficit in our General Fund and our obvious Pension fund obligations, we will lose all flexibility.

Spending reductions must occur now and must be significant even including reductions now to offset the anticipated elimination of the stimulus funds.  Adding to the financial reality, almost all the “real world” economists believe, as I do -that we are on the verge of beginning the second dip of a double dip recession. That means current revenues will not be sustainable and we will be on our knees come next year if revenue projections are again overstated. Only serious work now can avert this. Another consideration is this.  I can affirm that as I travelled this state our taxpayers and businesses are fragile and barely hanging on to their existence.  The continuing failed economic actions of the federal government will only add to our collective fiscal dilemma. We must grip our challenges by the horns now and think in terms of financial independence from the federal government, not plunging ahead expecting some bailout by the Federal Government or by the beleaguered taxpayer.

From a policy perspective, this means:

1)     No tax increases.
2)     No borrowing.
3)     Establishing a budget that spends only what our General fund revenues are currently generating at approximately $25.3 billion.  Apply available funds over this amount to our Pension Fund obligations.
4)     Reducing spending, primarily in Welfare but to a lesser degree in Education and Corrections.
