“Political Dissent” having the proper position in dissent
May 31st, 2012 by Randy Toman
Any political dissent and what it is and the how it should be conducted is important? But you will find political dissent hinges on and will first be determined by the “Why” which will allow all else to fall in order and place.
It is this “Why” of reason and conscience along with the Biblical teaching that will guide the person and/or family to a rightness of concern and therefore a correct direction of effort to their dissent. Concern and possible “Political Dissent” rested on 4 fundamental principles of Christianity as it came together in the fire of the European Reform Theology and brought to America (1300-1600). This development of the Christian duty was for the sake of peace and order, through a humble recognition of God’s providence and conformity to the regulations of a society in things lawful came together, but to profess allegiance to a constitution of government which is hostile—–to the Kingdom of Christ, the Head of the Church, and the Prince of the kings of the earth, will never work and you will find political dissent coming together within the social fabric where Christ is not found. The founders knew this well.
The hostility toward Christ’s Kingdom will lead to concern and dissent, with the rabble first showing discontent, as the Christian struggle to understand what is wrong. Why is this because the dissent rests on Four Christian Pillars that make up the reasoning and logic in formulating this dissent, the rabble understand none of these four pillars and lash out at everything through discontent as they attempt to force the social fabric to slip.
1/ The Universal Headship of Jesus Christ. (Colossians 1:15,16)
2/ The absolute supremacy of the divine law. (Acts 5:29)
3/ The moral personality and accountability of the nation. (Proverbs 14:34)
4/ The responsibility of the individual for corporate sins. (1 Timothy 5:22—Revelation 18:4)
It must be understood that these pillars will not be understood as some root cause if not followed, until the deterioration is well along and people start to understand that nothing in the social fabric seems to be working. The social fabric is falling apart—bringing out the worst of the rabble, in the form of greed, power and control of the citizens—they will be a law unto themselves. We are almost at that point and/or we will arrive at that point sometime on or before November of 2012.
The political correctness to were we have slipped—– will not allow us to formulate any type of reasoning process based of Biblical Law—-we have Christians who are ignorant —-who will swallow the separation of church and state, keeping them in the cesspool of secular logic—-thinking the answer is right around the corner—all the while it is not and we continue to slide ever deeper into destruction and possible Hell.
Along with this Christian ignorance—-we have the Christian thinking he is not at fault—–farther drawing himself into his self righteousness and emotionalism of so called church life where everything is smiley faced and with their so call love. How ignorant and foolish for them not to see the problem—-the country is drifting away and not many Christians see the problem or believe it is their problem and worst——few see any of it as their business to correct any of it.
The Christian Biblical intellect and Bible knowledge is poor at best and the people could not argue a point (Pro or Con) from the Bible if their life depend on it. Any fool can see—–at almost every point—-there is no Biblical argument being may—-yet we continue to not even attempt—-to neither raise Christ banner nor use the Bible to make a point in the political arena. I found it interesting—-over the holiday weekend the comment was made to me——-this person observed that the “Hillsdale Constitutional Courses” offered a higher level of intellectual argument—-which to this person was absolutely refreshing and challenging. The pastors and church leaders might want to think on that and understand that “Political Dissent” must be lead by them on a higher intellectual plain and the quicker they understand that and take the lead—–the quicker we can get about Christ’s work here in America.
We Shall See—-don’t you think??????

Good points. The big problem is that our churches are deeply infected with pietism, where personal holiness…while of great importance…is stressed over and over and over, to the neglect of everything else.
It’s as though an army were recruited, and put into basic training for thirty years. The soldiers would get old and lose their capable fighting days while in training. That is what we see in churches…what should be “Christianity 101″ to disciple new believers and children…things such as “the father is to be the head of the home and be a loving leader”…are being “taught” to people who have been converted for 20 and 30 years or more!
Ironically, this whole process seems to trivialize even those basic doctrines to the point that many who have heard them seventeen thousand times fail to implement them. If we would get the basics down in six months and then go fighting, we’d do better at both.
