Who’s funding Rand Paul? Didn’t Rand, Bernanke and Romney just have a meeting lately? Hmmm!

This is a disgrace. But disgrace is what we’ve come to expect from the GOP. Sadly, Rand Paul appears to be just another cheap GOP politician, willing to sacrifice what he claims to believe in for political advancement.
His father spent a lifetime acting on principle, and spawning a liberty movement that shows potential to free us from the clutches of the DemoPublican machine, and this serves only to strengthen the enemies of freedom.
Now his son wants us to support a Marxist.
How pathetically sad. Go home, Rand.
By the way, for those who insist that Paul supporters think their candidates are “perfect”, and that they are blind followers, you might note above that I have had somewhat of a change in heart over Rand.
It’s not about following politicians, as GOP zombies like to do, it’s about standing up for something.
No one follows their politician of choice more than the “Paul crowd”! Nothing wrong with it, it’s just the way we think about politics and politicians. I now wonder what Ron Paul will do now that his own son supports “Marxist” Romney? I’m getting confused! Who are the “good guys” and who defines the good guys? The more I think about this, the more confused I become. I think money and power may have something to do with Rand’s decision. In talking with Romney and Bernanke, maybe he knows that there is an economic calamity coming and he wants to be in the right place at the right time so he can be a player when things hit the fan! He might have been offered an opportunity that the Democrats would NEVER give him, being the Zombie Republican that he is! One just never knows!
It’s best not focusing on who are “good guys” and who are “bad guys”, and supporting principles and those who consistently uphold them.
I too wonder what Ron will do in the aftermath of his campaign manager (Jesse Benton) and his son switching sides. I feel really bad for him and in fact have not seen nor heard from him for some time now. It must be a really hard time. Thanksgiving dinner at the Paul residence will be an interesting time this year, I think.
You are 101% wrong…I say this as a matter of fact, nothing personal…about the “Paul crowd” following a politician. Read any of the Paul websites and you will find what I say to be accurate. If RP does not follow through in principle they will drop him so fast that neither you nor he will see it coming. Even RP himself says repeatedly that it’s not about him, it’s about a love for liberty.
I suspect (but wish otherwise) that you are correct that Rand’s decision had to do with money and power. We live in an age where guys who resist it as long as Ron Paul has are very very rare. I pray that he has the strength to continue to resist it, and for more like him.
