Every Congressman swears an oath to “… preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” To a casual observer, these words could be interpreted to mean that laws enacted by Congress should be consistent with the requirements of the Constitution.
So Henry Lamb says! He’s right but don’t bet it will happen.
Henry Lamb is the author of “The Rise of Global Governance,” chairman of Sovereignty International and founder of the Environmental Conservation Organization (ECO) and Freedom21 Inc..

I have maintained for a long time that it takes a lot of work to be a conservative but it is so easy to be a modern day liberal. All one needs to do to be a liberal is to go along with the crowd. But then I got to re-thinking this perspective of mine and the Constitution is what caused me to do so. Todays conservatism is inarguably closer to the principles of our Founders than modern day liberalism is. Rush made the point at his CPAC speech that conservatives do not need to read from a speech (or use a teleprompter). We know what our core beliefs and principles are. Liberals, on the other hand, are constantly making up new so called principles or just out and out lying. As everyone knows, it’s not easy to be a good liar because you have to remember all your lies. Clinton was a genius in this regard and Barack (may he be praised) seems equally adept. So, maybe it really is harder to be a liberal. We conservatives know, for example, that the earth has cooled for the past ten years. Liberals had to work hard to counter this data and came up with climate change to replace global warming. Yeah, I guess it does take a lot of work to be a liberal. Remember to turn all your lights ON tonight at 8:30 for Earth Hour!
Our government is totally out of control under Obama and Polosi. They appear to be bringing us closer to Socialism, something they have been working on for many years under the guise of equality, by demonizing the “rich” (read successful) and entitling the “poor” (unsuccessful). It’s an old Marxist class warfare tactic. The Dems have created these victim classes for votes by using the government schools and colleges. Unfortunately we are outnumbered. They are hammering at the bank and big corporate execs and at the same time are bailing them out with our tax money. We’ll see if they do the same thing to the Hollywood and main stream media execs! Only “We The People” can hold them accountable. The real challenge is to figure out how. We better do it soon before too many people get used to the notion of Socialism and give up. The libs are testing their effectiveness of dumbing down America.
