Where is the Anti-War movement?
In Reason.com column, capsule Ira Stoll writes: “…630 American soldiers died in the Afghanistan operation in the years 2001 through 2008, rx when Mr. Bush was president, while 1097 American soldiers have died in the years 2009, 2010, and 2011. Even if you allocate the 30 or so American soldiers killed in January 2009 entirely to Mr. Bush who was president until the January 20 inauguration, it is quite a record. Include Iraq, and the comparison tells a similar story: about 1,300 Americans killed in operations related to Iraq and Afghanistan combined. During the first two and a half or so years we’ve had of the Obama administration versus less than 600 American casualties in the first full three years of the George W. Bush administration. It all raises at least two related questions. First, where are the antiwar protests? And second, where is the press?”
You may have noticed the talk show hosts Rush, Beck and Hannity, will not compromise. Levin and Savage never had for the most part. Now the day time anchors have possibly gotten the message.
I heard for the first time (Friday 8/12/2011), Rush sounding as if he was truly annoyed with what he thought was a liberal, I think Rush hung up on the guy, saying something like—- “he could never convince that guy to change his mind—why talk to him.”
I believe we have reached a critical plateau in the battle of words. The Progressives knew all along they were not to go past a point where their position would be compromised. All the while the Conservative never knew where that was, floating to where ever he thought he felt good; not thinking that his words might have consequences. It was the art of compromise and politics that the conservative thought he was carrying to new heights, and all the while thinking he was doing well. How foolish his position was and he knew it not, nor did he realize the evilness that surrounded him was about to over come him. These likeminded conversationalists sank deeper with each passing year.
Think not that the main stream news media will ever want you to learn and know the truth. During the past 3 to 4 decades it has changed the culture with words from their worldview by running them through their mental machine to distort the facts to the far left and beyond recognition.
We have reached a point where challenging positions will become absolutely necessary. Western Civilization is being challenged. It is and always has been the values of the Bible and our Constitution that is at stake, only now people are waking up to this—-including Rush.
Has Rush reached a position of no compromised? I’d hope so. The problem is I don’t think he understands it will be Biblical values that will carry the day of no compromise, not his sarcastic words of supposed humor. It will be interesting to listen to these talk show guys to hear what words of defense or standards they use. Will they be words from the Bible, or some book of sarcastic jokes to be cute and funny remember Rush tells us regularly he is entertaining us. The problem now is things are not funny anymore. Will their words of nothingness help to stop the UK riots from coming here?

When I see things like this it takes my breath away, ailment for my immediate thoughts are on the what ifs of the situation. You read this paragraph and tell me what your first thoughts are.
Quoting from the article;
“CACLV gets Foreclosure Funding” Bethlehem Press Carol Smith 8/10/11
“According to a letter to council written by Alicia Karner, ask
president of Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley (CACLV) board of directors, order
the Lehigh Valley is number 68 on the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s recently released list of top 100 Metropolitan Statistical Areas for foreclosure. It is estimated that more than 170,000 foreclosures will occur in the state in the next 18 months.”
These statistics should have someone on the school board paying attention. They represent a large potential loss of money to the Pa. State Department of Education which would mean funding cuts again coming from the State. The housing market is down and I dare say will continue to go down. All the while there is no proposal for opening the teachers contract, is anyone looking at the pension problem coming in 2013, or to analyze the economic slide which is hurting the tax paying citizens of the Lehigh Valley, and finally the loss of revenues that will effect the local school districts.
All these things would be of no concern if in fact the odds were low, that they will happen, but that is not the case, all are highly probable. All of these “what ifs” should be taken as a serious threat by school boards thereby making a contingency plan for their school district, if the dollar falls, or the government declare bankruptcy leading to a loss of or severe reduction in revenues. Wouldn’t that be a plan of action prudent and wise?
I find it almost funny how bureaucrats of lower levels in government do not panic, knowing of their own ineptness and that of the system, realizing they must rely on someone or a system with many more degrees of inefficiency coming from a larger government setting that is above them. They should constantly be in panic mode, don’t you think?
Now for the topper of it all —–we have at the moment a statewide effort trying to implement a School Tax Property Elimination Act (STPEA). They have been successful enough to get the bill written and have representation in the house attempting to introduce it on the floor. Without going into detail let me just say this. I have not heard a thing from any school board or worse, no push from any local elected official like Senator Boscola, nor the state reps like State Rep Joe Brennan. Why aren’t they telling us it is available? This bill has been in the works now for some 6-8 years all the while our representatives approved gambling revenue as a method of property tax reduction. Even as they seal up the STPEA in the maze of hurdles wasting time instead of bringing legislation to the floor that in fact could help the tax payer.

Dr. R.J. Rushdoony said “Few things are more misunderstood than the nature and meaning of theocracy. It is commonly assumed to be a dictatorial rule by self-appointed men who claim to rule for God. In reality, this web
theocracy in Biblical law is the closest thing to a radical libertarianism that can be had.”
The understanding of the Bible and God’s law is imperative if we are to know how to separate church and state, and knowing the true meaning of what a theocracy is. Neither the church nor the state can take away conscience or man’s right to property as given to him by God. All spheres of life are under God and owe their boundaries, as fixed, by Him and His sovereignty; this then becomes a true theocracy under Godly men.
John Adams stated; “The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence.”
These are three points which are most important and must be understood if you are to understand what theocracy is.
1) If that dominant power or god in the person’s life is the state, they will react to it and be its slave.
2) If it is the triune God of scripture who rules them, then men will respond to and obey His law-word, under a true theocracy with a true separation of church and state.
3) Men will obey either state or God it can be no other way.
There is a simple fact known back as far as the 30’s and I am sure if we search further we can find it has been known through out history by all the great thinkers, for it is a simple truth. Albert Jay Nock’s (a Libertarian of scholarly note) in his “Our Enemy, the State” 1935 makes it clear that the “State” is man’s new church and saving institution and that state is an antisocial institution, determined to suppress and destroy all the historic and religiously grounded powers of society. FDR and his “New Deal” planned the complete extinction of social power through absorption by the state. Some might say FDR was not that type of man and in reality he was only trying to do good, if so, FDR was ignorant of God, the Bible, God’s Law and History.
There were few that saw this and certainly not enough that saw the problems of FDR’s “New Deal” to stem the tide. State intervention into the social fabric has ever so slowly destroyed production and its social power. It has taken some 60-70 years to fall to this level of ignorance and loss of social power. Today in general, knowledge of the Scriptures is minuscule in the United States.
When the Johnstown, PA flood (1936) occurred, all relief and aid was the result of a great outpouring of private giving. Its abundance, measured by money alone, was so great that when everything was finally put in order, something like a million dollars remained.
As we drift away from God and His law we see 70 years later, the devastation done to the social fabric, the people and their freedom.
It remains for us to rightly divide the Word if there is going to be a correction and that correction will only come if God has mercy on us if we understand salvation is through Jesus Christ, and not the State, as Mr. Nock warned us back in 1935.
Micah 6:8 KJV
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”
The meaning of separation of church and state has the people so confused as to its interpretation and what it is supposed to mean that we scarcely know what to make of the doctrine or how we are to proceed when making life’s decisions.
First let me say that there are without question different areas of authority with regard to life’s worldview. God has separated the responsibilities of man; the simplest break down can be stated as one element is in charge of your soul, purchase the church with its spirituality and Godly teaching. The other is government which is over the civil and social aspect of life.
The overlap and confusion is when the church moves from saving souls, sick
to instruction in how we should govern. This church authority of preaching the righteousness of Jesus Christ is continually being confused with how we should govern by turning those Biblical responsibilities of man, rubella
into some emotion of, he is a good guy, or because he is a so called Christian therefore he should or will get my vote. The nutty-ness of saying, look he prays in public or look he is carrying his Bible into a church on Sunday as did President Clinton, has no bearing on the fact that he is a corrupt government official leaving our borders wide open with illegal folks and terrorist pouring in or he scandalously does things that destroys his family and family values. This type of person should never get our vote, whether a so called Christian or Heathen.
If the two area’s, church and state, can not be put in right judgment, nor can we discern the truth that guides both, we can do nothing but destroy ourselves.
The Civil magistrate will or should be guided by sound doctrine that he receives from his Church, Pastor and Bible, knowing God is sovereign over all; but his rule will be determined by his civil duty to those laws of the land and in our case it is the Constitution.
We need not look for him in Church, praying or holding Bible study if he is violating the land of the land. He is first, a watchman of the land whose duty is to God, with God charging him with a civil duty to the laws of the land. The fact that he violates the civil laws and his justices is corrupt will take him out of God’s favor and cast a terrible shadow over the people for they have placed/voted him into office. If in fact the magistrate is not performing his duty as God’s authority in that position, you can rest assured he will not appear with any regularity in church.
I believe separation of Church and State with its doctrine will be placed on center stage in 2012 with the Christians again showing their ignorance of scripture and the Biblical teachings. They will be supporting some Heathen claiming to be a Christian; all the while the so call Christian Voter ignores the Constitution and the essences of Romans 13:1-6 and what the civil magistrate should be doing.
