Separation of Church and State
Aug 23rd, 2011 by Randy Toman
The meaning of separation of church and state has the people so confused as to its interpretation and what it is supposed to mean that we scarcely know what to make of the doctrine or how we are to proceed when making life’s decisions.
First let me say that there are without question different areas of authority with regard to life’s worldview. God has separated the responsibilities of man; the simplest break down can be stated as one element is in charge of your soul, the church with its spirituality and Godly teaching. The other is government which is over the civil and social aspect of life.
The overlap and confusion is when the church moves from saving souls, to instruction in how we should govern. This church authority of preaching the righteousness of Jesus Christ is continually being confused with how we should govern by turning those Biblical responsibilities of man, into some emotion of, he is a good guy, or because he is a so called Christian therefore he should or will get my vote. The nutty-ness of saying, look he prays in public or look he is carrying his Bible into a church on Sunday as did President Clinton, has no bearing on the fact that he is a corrupt government official leaving our borders wide open with illegal folks and terrorist pouring in or he scandalously does things that destroys his family and family values. This type of person should never get our vote, whether a so called Christian or Heathen.
If the two area’s, church and state, can not be put in right judgment, nor can we discern the truth that guides both, we can do nothing but destroy ourselves.
The Civil magistrate will or should be guided by sound doctrine that he receives from his Church, Pastor and Bible, knowing God is sovereign over all; but his rule will be determined by his civil duty to those laws of the land and in our case it is the Constitution.
We need not look for him in Church, praying or holding Bible study if he is violating the land of the land. He is first, a watchman of the land whose duty is to God, with God charging him with a civil duty to the laws of the land. The fact that he violates the civil laws and his justices is corrupt will take him out of God’s favor and cast a terrible shadow over the people for they have placed/voted him into office. If in fact the magistrate is not performing his duty as God’s authority in that position, you can rest assured he will not appear with any regularity in church.
I believe separation of Church and State with its doctrine will be placed on center stage in 2012 with the Christians again showing their ignorance of scripture and the Biblical teachings. They will be supporting some Heathen claiming to be a Christian; all the while the so call Christian Voter ignores the Constitution and the essences of Romans 13:1-6 and what the civil magistrate should be doing.
We Shall See—Don’t you think?

Hi, Randy, I can’t disagree with you on the separation of church and state topic, but as to Gov. Perry, I would never vote for a man who let his crony in the pharmaceutical company, Merck, give him money, in exchange for which he used his power in office to write an executive order manking it mandatory for every girl over the age of ten in Texas submit to the new vaccine Gardasil. The vaccine is unneccessary for most people, and had proven dangerous and damaging to many who have taken it. Whether to be medicated ought to be a personal decision for parents and adults to make on their own, not at the whim of whoever happens to be in the statehouse (or the White House).
And then, he lied about it later, and changed the story, and that is not the only problem with this man, who was Al Gore’s campaign head, and who was a prime mover in taking property by eminent domain for the globalists NAFTA highway. Perry is nothing but an opportunist who “bleieves” whatever is convenient at the moment. Ugh. I would almost rather vote for Obama. In any case, I would vote for a third party candidate over Perrry.
right on Randy.. Just look today with the 5.9 earthquake scare for many people w/o God… They are frightened. Keep praying, witnessing and We Know He is in control…..People make choices, I pray God sends a last revival..
