Six Quotes to Correct Things
Jan 28th, 2009 by Randy Toman
Wouldn’t you wish you could find a politician that was running on this platform, one that got up and said, I advocate and will be running on these positions.
1. A currency backed by precious metal standard.
2. Becoming energy-independent.
3. Stopping all government spending not authorized by the Constitution.
4. Halting foreign aid.
5. Blocking illegal immigration.
6. Growing the middle class through less government.
7. Eliminating the income tax.
8. Getting rid of the central bank.
I only wish I could say with assurance that these 8 issues and being on the correct side of them is the answer but it is not. He would be a good man but he doesn’t give the answer to the root problem. Why am I so sure they will not correct what is wrong, because none of the 8 issues address the root problem and what is really wrong. So what am I talking about? Allow me to answer that with these 6 quotes.
“Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.”
Benjamin Franklin
“Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt.”
Samuel Adams
“The government… can never be in danger of degenerating into a monarchy, an oligarchy, an aristocracy, or any other despotic or oppressive form so long as there shall remain any virtue in the body of the people.”
George Washington
“ The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion. Without this there can be no virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty, and liberty is the object and life of all republican government.”
Benjamin Rush
“Our liberty depends on our education, our laws, and habits… it is founded on morels and religion, whose authority reigns in the heart, and on the influence all these produce on public opinion before that opinion governs rulers.”
Fisher Ames
“It is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue.”
John Adams
The next time a politician tell you he is on the correct side of an issue ask him what side of the issue his morals, ethics and character are? We have come to a point in history were issues are not the issue any more but the questioning of the politicians motives and his morals, ethics and his character will need to be. Isn’t a bunch of socialist governing us, and nobody is calling this EVIL or questioning their morals, ethics, or character. What is the matter with us?

Our upright citizens who call themselves “conserves” rate an A+ when it comes to calling those they loathe “liberals” and “socialists.”
Is Warren Buffett a socialist, Ed Rendell?
The U.S. has been gutted since Nixon opened China; this was done by both Dems and Repubs and their corporate allies. We’ve let out 40,000,000+ mfg jobs (since 1973) but allowed (since 1986) nearly 70,000,000 legal and illegal immigrants in.
If you are not opposed to legal then you are just kidding about illegal. These invaders have inhaled at least $3,000,000,000,000 in
govt. benefits since 1986. Exactly whom is kidding who about “smaller govt”?
