Society Corrupt?

I was just thinking about my last “Temple” posting about several Rabbi’s getting caught in making money the easy way at the cost of the unsuspecting public. I think this is a small but significant sign of what is happening to our society in general. I always had much respect for Rabbi’s. I thought they were a cut above the average person. I still believe that is the case for most but I’m disturbed by this occurrence just as I am disturbed by stories about pedophile priests. I am also disturbed by the lack of coverage in the mainstream media of the former but I’m not surprised considering all those who run the mainstream media!
