Ten Rules For Getting Elected
Dec 29th, 2009 by The Outsider
The rules for anyone running for any office in the government should be:
1. No elitists.
2. All persons must have been employed at a real job or managed a legal business of some kind. That means no one from a government job.
3. No union leaders, no lawyers and no felons shall apply.
4. No America haters, Fascists, Socialists or Communists can apply. I know this is a free country but it will not stay that way if we allow subversives and those that ignore the constitution to undermine the will of the American people or the intentions of our forefathers and military who sacrificed so much to give us our freedoms.
5. There should be term limits for all those that are legally elected. That means no tax funded or partially tax funded or government subsidized groups like ACORN will be allowed to assist in getting votes for those that run for office. Also, no church or religious institution can use their buses for transporting people to the pols to vote.
6. No lobbyists…none! All campaign funds will be collected by an independent non-partisan group and distributed evenly amongst all participants that meet these other nine rules.
7. All participants must show proof of being born in the United States.
8. All those running for any office must show proof of legally earning their living for the last 5 years. That means no government welfare within the last 5 years.
9. All bills and legislation must be availed to the American people to read and understand before passing. These bills must be passed during regular working hours, out in the open, televised by CNN and with both political parties present. Those elected must live by their own rules, laws and social policies like medicare and social security.
10. Words mean something! No Political Correctness can be used to slant issues to mean something they don’t. Political Correctness will be considered an attempt by the user to perpetrate a falsehood on the American people. A three strikes and you are out policy should be enforced on those that don’t adhere to this most important of all policies.
We need simplicity in our policies. All laws, rules and prior legislation should be scrapped and the above rules should be a start to rewrite all our laws into something we all understand, State and Federal. The American people need to be put back in charge and everyone needs to be held accountable for wrong doing.
