To the both of you Erik and Ann,

The Bill of Rights has nothing to do with separation of “Church and State” excluding standards taught to folks, and that is what I said.
“Separation of church and state has so perverted the thinking that most people believe these two areas of life can remain divorced from one another. How ignorant can we be, the religious teachings of the church one attends must and will influence how we think and act?”
That includes President Obama sitting under Rev. Wright for 20 years.
And my point was men get their standards from somewhere, so getting your moral compass through religion is not religious extremism. Extremism can be found both within a religious context and outside of one. Here are but two examples —Hitler, a heathen, if there ever was one, and the religious fanatics who go around blowing themselves up, killing themselves and many innocence people, all the while thinking they are doing gods will and going to heaven.
Those two represent extremisms and I’m sure the both of you could name many more such examples of extremism, but the fact of the matter is you can not separate church and state from a persons thinking and acting within a social order. He will be what he is taught and as an adult what he thinks period end of discussion.
If you believe this or not, does not change the fact, you are what you are taught and believe. This country and the majority of the people that came to it between 1620 and 1776 were of the Christian Faith and believe in Jesus Christ as savior, reading the Bible and following God’s law as written in it. And the whole foundational premise of rights coming from God is to be found nowhere in any government document but the USA, and nowhere but in our “Constitution”. Destroy the Biblical bases and the constitution will not stand.
Separation of church and state is an issue in this country only because you have the freedom to make it an issue; no other country has that freedom. Try it in China, Russia, Iran or any other place and you will not have the freedom to protest or take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost, you will be forced into the government line of thinking or worse. If you do not believe that, we have really nothing to talk about.
The both of you can rest easy—- WE SHALL SEE and shortly.
Read both Psalms 11:3 and Psalms 82:5.

And Randy if we listened to you, we would be living in “China, Russia, Iran or any other place and you will not have the freedom to protest or take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost, you will be forced into the government line of thinking or worse.”
I for one do not want to live in New Iran, even if it is under the Christian religion instead of the Allah.
If you don’t mind (and even if you do) I’d prefer to think for myself and you leave free to think whatever you are told to think by your religious organization.
