Wake Up Or Succumb

As I sit here thinking of the dire predicament we are in by accepting Socialism, I realize that Socialism has failed everywhere it has been tried. Why has Socialism failed and how has it been started in countries like the former Soviet Union?
It has always started with the greed of government for power and control over the peoples lives. Money has always been the starter and corruption kept it going, sometimes for many years until the people rose up or until something else happened. More on that later!
When the people become too comfortable, they become complacent and even lazy, wanting more and more handouts and to do less and less for themselves. The government steps in to make sure they continue on that path so that they get complete control. It’s a good way to buy votes and to stay in power.
To stop Socialism in our constitutional representative Republic the hard way, the people will need to get active and to protest against the government and force them to follow the constitution. To do that, we need an informed citizenry. Whether we have that is questionable, due to the intentional dumbing down of our children in our progressive government controlled schools.The powerful teachers unions keep feeding the greed of the politicians in government and ignore the damage to our children’s education. So the “hard” way doesn’t look too promising.
The other way to stop Socialism is to let it take it’s course. This is the “easy” way! We only need to look at the former Soviet Union to see what caused theirs to finally fail. That would be the total collapse of the economy and social structure. The other collapse is one our politicians never mention….that would be of our moral values and our religious institutions. It happened in Russia and it can happen here. It happened in Hitler’s Germany and many other societies as history proves, another reason to teach proper history to our young instead of the politically correct nonsense they are now being fed. It’s really up to us to make sure our children learn what the older people already know to be true. Get active or our fate will be in the hands of the far left as I can clearly see is happening. The easy way out is to succumb to the leftists!
