Were is the Republical Party taking us?

I have said more then once, there is something very much wrong with the Republican Leadership. The inability of the leadership to get to the core of the issue and take it on, is going to be the Republican Party’s down fall and I might add the country’s
“We have come to the cross roads in this political presidential campaign were the candidate’s positions have all been exposed. There remains only one thing left for analysis and that is their reason for holding those so widely varying beliefs. We are well past classification of the issue, I want to know why O’bama as a socialist, is running for the office of president of the United States? He is taking us down an evil path and no one is calling him on it, why not? I want to know why McCain isn’t asking the hard questions? And why the government is taking us down the road to economic destruction.”

The issues can no longer be continually reasoned through, as they say, “We have beaten that horse to death.” Let us move on to some conclusions. And what are those conclusions to be if, reason and logic prevails? The Republican Party must take that step in seriousness. Here is what someone said to me in an e-mail, who happen to be a Republican supporter, working hard for the McCain/Palin ticket.
“This is a state (PA.) that shares Sarah Palin’s values and a state who will vote for John McCain for Commander-in-Chief. The Palin/McCain campaign is running an embarrassingly incompetent campaign and some of us are asking “if this is how McCain campaigns, how will he govern?”
Do not make false assumptions as to this person’s ability to make astute observations because this person is not alone in this type of thinking. This up and coming debate should either be McCain’s breaking out and into a leadership position or it will seal his doom as an incompetent leader. If he fails we in the “Grand Old Party” should start asking how grand is it and were is the leadership taking us.
