I was just thinking about the fiasco with Obama and his Pastor Wright and how Obama was sticking with him after all the nasty things the Reverend Wright said about America, the white people of America and Europe and the Jews. Obama even referred to his white Grandmother as a typical white person with rascist views. He seemed to suggest that the Reverend Wright had an excuse for all his racism, but not his Grandmother. He then gives a speech and says he wants to bridge the racial divide and unify the American people. Keep in mind that he listened to Reverend Wright for almost 20 years and calls him his mentor and good friend. The MSM makes excuses for him simply because they are pushing for him to be elected President of the United States. We know what would happen if a white Pastor in a predominately white church preached the same vile statements condemning a minority group. They would be driven out of their church by the MSM, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the other phoney leaders in the black community. A double standard? Of course there is! I really thought Obama was an honest person but the fact that he is playing to his African American base by sticking with his demented and racist Pastor Wright, tells me he is not forthcoming with the truth to white or black America and how most blacks feel about Reverend Wright and his over the line remarks. I also notice that more and more African Americans are switching to Islam for their preferred religion and along with that comes hate for other religions.

I remember when O.J. Simpson was cleared of the murders of his former wife Nicole and her friend, how the black community cheered for him and said it was payback time for what the whites did to blacks in the past. I get that that same feeling with Obama and his Pastor and the people that attend that church. I wonder how many other black churches are giving the same messages of hate and revenge, in the same way to their parishioners. We seem to hear this hate for “whitey” in other places places as well. Hip Hop and Rap music is full of hate for white Americans, the law and even their own woman.  About 90 % of all blacks vote for Democrats. Maybe those high numbers could mean that many of these blacks have become dependent on entitlements for their survival and feel compelled to vote for the politicians that make the most promises. Democrats MUST know this! Is this why the Democrats preach to African Americans about how the Republicans are mean spirited, greedy, and have no compassion for the poor? Of course it is! The sad thing is the fact that most blacks believe the lies. This only builds distrust between the parties.

Out of all of this hate comes some real problems for the American people to solve. The marriage rate for African Americans is the lowest of all ethnic groups, somewhere in the area of less than 30 percent. Out of wedlock births are also the highest in the black community. Even the entitlement regulations favor the single black woman with children. I thought the entitlement and welfare programs were supposed to help the poor. Instead we have more poor people than ever. We entrusted the government to solve these problems with all their “compassion” for the poor! I believe that after 40 years of this kind of compassion, we would have learned the lesson about what doesn’t work and try something different. Dependency upon the government or any one else but one’s self, is a sure way to destroy one’s self worth.

Education or the lack of it, is certainly a big problem in the predominately black inner city public schools and should be seriously looked at. The school unions don’t want change. Playing to the wishes of the teachers and their own interests, are much more important than a good education for the children that need it most. How can we see this any other way? There are a million excuses given by the anti-school choice people who many believe we should have a choice to kill the unwanted babies that are just an inconvienience to us.  So much for choice! 

Trying to tie all of these problems together to a single cause is difficult at best but I do think there is a common denominator in all of this. We have stooped to the lowest common denominator in almost everything that made this country great. We have lost our moral values and said it was just being progressive, that there is no such thing as absolute truth. It is only relative and that can be what we want it to be. This is the kind of thinking that a Godless person would have. After all, if there is no God, then there is no 10 commandments to base our laws upon, no Hell to which we will go if we stray from doing what is right. Besides, right is only what we want it to be. This is why O.J. was not held accountable and many others in high places are not held accountable either. How can any of us trust anyone when the laws only pertain to the average person and crimes are overlooked because of political correctness. It all goes back to our lack of moral values and we have no one to blame but ourselves and the people we elect. If we let Obama get away with his association with a radical Pastor for 20 years and the people vote him in as President, we will deteriorate even further into irresponsible behavior and the chaos will continue. Under these circumstances, who will we be able to trust? The American way of life requires trust and that can only come from a moral society.
