Who Really Broke Healthcare?

“Almost everything wrong with our health care system comes from government interference with the free market. If the health care system is broken, then fix it. Don’t try to invent a new one premised on all the bad ideas that are causing problems in the first place.”
This is what Ann Coulter says in her latest article on her Website. She is 100% correct. It started with FDR back during WWII. The government can act as though they are your friend when in fact they are sticking it to you and smiling all the while their preferred victim groups are voting the liberal politicians right back in office thinking they are getting something for nothing.
The health-care issue is something that seems to be met with more emotion than common sense, especially to the poorly educated who have been taught to hate the “rich”. Yet, these rich people are the very people who are taken for granted by the government and who are paying the bills.
Ann Coulter’s article brings up some things about health-care and the insurance companies that seemed to have evaded many of us as we go about our daily lives. When one really thinks about it, insurance companies are a form of collectivism that says the many should pay for the few that abuse the system, whether that be car insurance, medical insurance, real estate insurance or any other insurance. It’s a way to make us think we don’t have to be as responsible as we would have to be, had we payed our own way.
At the rate we are going, especially with the liberals in control of most everything, the irresponsible will outnumber the responsible in about 5 to 10 years by my account. The government, (elitistists, arrogant and natural tendency to rule others), will make all our decisions for us. After all, they really believe they are smarter than any of us. We should be trying a lot harder to prove them wrong but seem to come up short at election time. Greed seems to be taking over in place of common sense and personal responsibility. The Nanny State culture is NOT good for the future of a free country and the evidence for that is all over the world in places that have tried it.
Read Ann’s article and read it carefully. http://www.anncoulter.com/
