Who Stands For What?

I was interested, this past week in one of the talk show host comments with regards to education. He was quite insistent that education had nothing to do with the Persons morels or ethics, unless that happens to be the subject being taught. I agreed with him 100% and I might add, depending on whose morels and ethics that are being taught the person might think cutting peoples heads off and/or eating the neighboring tribes residents might be OK. So the correct morels and ethics do matter and where you get those from will be of the utmost importance.
This same talk show host was extremely careful so as to not have him self branded as a “Religious Zealot” on the very next days show. Now I ask you how can that be and what was he saying. One day he was saying education is not the answer to morel and ethical problems. You cannot teach righteousness through a course in history, mathematics, English, or civics. It is taught primarily through religious instruction and in a church setting. It is the church teachings that culture will adopt.
Anyway the next day he was backing away from being called a Religious Zealot as though the very mention of those words were taboo. Being branded with the label is one thing but never defending the term religious zealot to any degree is another. So we should really have the label religious zealot defined. Because religious teaching will give you the lessons of morality and ethics needed for righteous living. To that extent every one of us should have some religious, knowledge and zeal.
If you want to use that term “Religious Zealot” as some kind of negative term and indicating he or she has gone off the deep end and that he is some kind of a fool with no logical thought process then you should start by saying what you mean and that you want the teachings of the Bible out of the conversation.
But if by a “Religious Zealot” you mean he or she incorporates the Biblical teaching into his thinking and attempts to present his thoughts in some logical progression for Gods glory and as being created in His image then I believe that is a good thing and you can call me a “Religious Zealot” anytime. We should have more “Religious Zealot” types in Washington because I’m not sure what kind of zealot you call those fools we now have down there. And let me add this, a true Christian Religious Zealot should give you his zeal for Christ with love not hate or deceit.
The true Christian Religious Zealot will not be emotional and subjective but should attempt to defend his position using scripture and Gods law with logic and reason. What does the fool there in Washington use to defend his positions? Why he doesn’t even use the Constitution, leaves the borders wide open, wants to give the country away through treaties, and taxes you to death and hates Jesus Christ. At least with a Christian Religious Zealot he will give you love; even if it is tough love and you will know what he stands for.

In the public schools, right from wrong cannot be taught simply because the schools are afraid that they will be sued by the ACLU for teaching moral values which the ACLU communists consider a religious matter.
Public schools are not supposed to teach a religion, but they should teach about religion as it is a part of history. I find that most only teach that religion is and was a bad part of history. That is unless you are a Muslim and are Islamic, then they are afraid to say anything bad about that religion. I guess it’s all about how much abuse we are willing to take when it comes to bashing our religion. If Christians started cutting off heads of people that are of a different religion, then Christians would get more respect! Sad, isn’t it? It’s more than sad, it’s a national disgrace. Note: I wonder why the ACLU communists never attack the Islamic or Jewish religions, only the Christian religions?
