Who’s The Victim?

A friend of mine decided to take a quick short cut through through part of the city to avoid traffic. He approached a stop sign and was blocked by several petty hoodlums wanting to make a quick buck. My friend was a devout Christian and had several small statues on top of his dash. The hoodlums took the statues and commented how they weren’t protecting him and took his wallet, then threatened to shoot him in the head. He finally stepped on the gas and got out of there!
Another incident was another friend of mine who was stopped at a light in the same way, except that he was dragged out of his car and stabbed in the stomach, all for 2 dollars. An elderly lady heard the commotion and ran outside to scare the hoods away and called 911. She saved his life. In this case, the victim was black and worked with me. He was merely going back to his old neighborhood to visit his mother. He is also a Christian and one of the finest people I know.
Our inner cities are a real mess! Crime, drugs, prostitution and trash everywhere! What do our leaders say about this, the same leaders that never dare go into the inner cities in our country but they say the have the solution? They claim that this is all caused by the people on the right, for refusing to offer opportunities and jobs to the “victims” and that we are racists and bigots. Excuse me! We are the victims! Created by the left who “feel” for the lower class and have “compassion” for all of the “victim” groups they helped to create over the years. The sorry part of all of this is that it has worked. Just look around and you’ll see way too many people who feel they have a right to take whatever they want, that is of course if they don’t get it from the government Socialists by “spreading the wealth”! They are “entitled” they say! Even the left in government call giveaways an entitlement. The hate that I see in the victim groups actions, didn’t come by accident! We have been part of the class warfare game the left has been forcing on us for many years. It’s nothing less than Marxism! The left has done everything they could to create a huge victim class by including as many ethnic groups and classes of people as they can. It’s simple! Start with the ones that have been discriminated against in the past and go from there. Now we have woman’s groups that are victims, even though woman make up a much larger part of our population. The left has divided our country into the poor against the rich, the working class against the corporations, black against white, Democrats against Republicans, liberals against conservatives and religious against non-religious. All for votes!
The real victims are all of us and the real enemy is the corrupt government we elected. We, in effect, have had a huge part in destroying our culture and government and only we can straighten it out! There is only one reason that I can think of that would cause us to allow this to happen! That would be our lack of faith in God. Without Him, we will deteriorate into a land of victims and the survival of the fittest will prevail over civilized behavior. We already see that everyday and it will only get worse unless we change. Government is NOT the answer, our return to our faith in God is!
