Why is this Happening?

This is for those of you who live in the Lehigh Valley, Pa.
Between Chris Satullo’s “Philadelphia Inquirer Newspaper” article “A not-so Glorious Fourth”, and Joe Hilliard’s “Mortgage Bailout Bill” in which he informs me my Congressman, Mr. Charles Dent is supporting the bill that gives the tax payers money to the bankers in yet another bailout.
What the heck is the little guy caught under all this evilness supposed to do? The pressure cooker of life has reached the point of eruption and/or explosion.
Along with the high price of gasoline and food I just received in yesterday’s mail (7/2/08) a flyer from my state Senator Lisa Boscola telling me my electric bill was going up 34%. She also tells me my utility company made $868 million in profit for 2006. The question becomes do I want government to become involved with yet another issue?
On top of my Utility bill (Electric) going up we have gasoline, food, mortgage bailout, and I’m not to feel good about my patriotic emotion, love of country. We have our heating costs for Natural Gas this winter supposed to go up 30-50%.
Now I ask you what should we expect of the good citizens of this country? Someone better tell me pretty quick, why we have No drilling, why No new nuclear generating plants, why No coal to gasoline plants, and No new refineries.
The evil is so embedded in Washington that all the politician’s do is ignore us and go their happy way. They are forcing us to act (those of us involved) less then our parts as a gentleman. WHY? Why is this happening?
